I start Tuesday for my childcare teacher role and I am beyond grateful and excited! I have been watching videos to help me better understand on what to expect and I love that you care so much for the babies â€ïž makes me feel so warm to know that they have someone great to look up too. â€ïž
Hoping to become a daycare worker in the near future and help break some of the stigma of male childcare workers. I love kids and sometimes feel like I'm still a kid myself!
Iâm an elementary schoolteacher that got a job working at childcare facility for this summer. I had 3 hours of shadowing today and childcare workers are absolute rockstars, yâall do so much! â€
This is the very reason I'm watching this! It's a shift from caregiver to chronically ill seniors. I've done it for about 12 years. It's a pleasure to be able to assist them during their final years, but it gets heavy. It's definitely time for a change!
i love watching these videos. i just got the okay to become a childcare worker. i am starting with my traineeship for a cert 3 for childhood education. i am so excited. these videos really give me hope and confidence
This is something I really want to get into after I graduate! Are there any classes you would recommend I take for my senior year? I'm takeing intro to early childhood soon.
Iâm going into a trade school this year, first year of high school, and Iâve gotten accepted because I wanted to become a teacher or work with younger kids. Not 100% sure if what I want to do but I wish you the best of luck
Hi! Anyone got advice for me? Im anxiety ridden about teaching and the virus? Any new techniques you may have put into place to help still be an efficient teacher?? Anything to make it safer and make me less stressed will help alot!
Honey I did the same thing and regret it terribly these kids are horrible don't work with 2 year olds they don't listen work with 3 and 4 year olds that's a great age.
Hi iam about to be a teacher aide at a daycare working with 3 and 4 year old this will my first time in this career what are your experiences how is it?
I donât have a degree in ECE I just have a high school diploma. I also have lots of experience with working with kids ages 6 weeks to 12. You just need experience.
I only had a high school diploma when I worked as an assistant teacher at this childcare. In order to be the lead teacher of the classroom you needed a specific certification I think called a CDA. (Child development associate) and you can make a little more money than the assistants. I would definitely just look into childcare centers in your area, I did have to do some online training courses that the facility paid for as well as a CPR class that they paid for as well! Good luck I know you can be great and whatever you put your mind to!
Yes! Depends on their age but we would sing songs, teach colors, numbers, abc's, and do art work/crafts on the kids age level each day, but they would also get to have independent play. We would also go outside and let them play twice a day.
Respected teacher to them My name is Esther I am twenty one I live in Sri Lanka I am educated in Child Care Course (NVQ 4 LEVEL) through Sri Lanka Vocational Training Authority in Sri Lanka. Are there any other ways to work in childcare in the UK? Thank you teacher if you let me know it will help.
We would usually do breakfast, outside time, circle time (numbers, letters, shapes, and alphabet.) small groups with a learning activity or sensory activity such as sand, shaving cream, painting, etc. diapers in between each project so about every 2 hours 3 teachers would rotate changes depending on your schedule, then clean up for lunch, right after lunch nap time. During nap time we would have assigned cleaning and sanitation jobs as well as eating our lunch. When they woke up from nap we would go outside again come in read a few books, dance party and then free play until it was time to go home. Hope this gives you a better picture of how the day went đ ps. I donât work in childcare anymore.
Hi my name is symone and iam about to be a teacher aide at a daycare working with 3 and 4 years olds this is my first in a very different career i know i will love it i havea child of my own but how is working with kids what the routine lunch and all?
I had the 6:30am-2:30pm shift, so they would usually come in eat breakfast and immediately go outside to play, after outside they would come in and directly sit in a circle time where we would go over colors, numbers, and shapes etc. Then straight into diaper changes, independent play for a while, then into the activity as a group. after that it was lunch time. The kids get into the habit because they do the same thing everyday and they know what's about to happen next. The children had good and bad days you never knew how they were going to react. Does this answer your question? How are you liking the job?
Depends on where you are located and in America or at least Virginia you can have a highschool diploma and still be a preschool teacher or you can get a certificate
@@Alexiaholcombe_ ohh okay, im from sydney australia. And i really want to work at a daycare cause i love kids. And when i grow up i want to be a teacher hehe

I don't think so, at least not by yourself in the state of Georgia. I had a roommate and it was doable but I often didn't have any left over money. I think I made $9.50 at this job and the pay was every two weeks.
