They got access to the same level of building across the canal, and have already built a bridge that still meshes with the old building style. So they will have more than enough space to continue expanding. They'd never have jumped through all the hoops of German bureaucracy if they didn't plan on expanding massively.

My dad used to build the scenery like this in the 60's to 70. All for his h.o.scale trains and tracks.
My oldest sister and I saw displays at the county fair and the work on them looked substandard next to my dad's displays.
He was very meticulous down to working lights and doors in the buildings.
His buildings were built with a solid cardboard surface covered by meticulously cut and placed wooden match sticks. Each piece was hand crafted from the tiniest painted wall to the rivers which were lightly painted mirrors embedded in the paper mache ground cover. The trees and bushes were authentic. The buildings were small towns and painted as businesses with wooden sidewalks. There were tunnels through paper mache mountains, tiny gravel roads and extremely miniature animals. He also built hand made bridges. He was very precise in everything that he did.
He had other hobbies also including building and flying model planes and building and displaying model car kits.
Those days and his displays have long passed with time.
I never expected to see anything even close to his works of art in those displays. This one may have cost more but it's as close to his as I've ever seen and his were impeccable.
