Thank you! I was concerned about the health of the people there living next to the coal plant. Could you tell me if the birds are thriving there or not? How dangerous is the coal plant when people live within a mile of it and the college is right there too. Do you live here?@@raleigh-durhamnc
@@birdlynn417 Honestly we didnt even know UNC had a coal plant! You are the first person to ever bring it to our attention- wow! That being said, since we have never known of it I think the wildlife all seems to be healthy in Chapel Hill as it is in surrounding areas.
@@raleigh-durhamnc Thanks for your response. Yes, if you google it you will see lots of news information about it. But it seems that the public are healthy, the greenery looks healthy, and I am glad to hear that the birds are flourishing too. I plan to move there in the near future. ;)
You will love it!

Tom grew up in Raleigh
I love the name new hope and I love the governors club I loved on commanders row as a young woman. We have in eagles landing and Indigo very nice homes.
Very cool! Thank you so much for watching!
We’re coming to chapel hill
Enjoy your visit!!
Do you get tornados or hurricanes here?
Hurricanes are more of a problem but NC gets both sometimes but it shouldn’t be too big of a problem.
Not regularly an issue! The coast of NC can have more issues with possible hurricanes but typically when they occur it just brings storms to the triangle. Tornadoes form occasionally but it isn't common. Thankfully we don't deal with many natural disasters here!
Thank you!

@@raleigh-durhamnc no problem. I’ve lived right next to Raleigh almost all of my life but I have a beach place in the coast. I’ve only had one tornado get close and for hurricanes the property at the beach obviously got hit much harder but it’s never been that big of a problem and locals usually stay even when a hurricane approaches. You always listen to the warnings though and should leave when told so people shouldn’t be too worried. Every place has its problems but NC is a great place to live. No wonder so many people are moving to NC.
@@mwokozi Thank you, for your nice comment. I am coming to NC soon!
As a North Carolinian myself as for Chapel Hill don't forget to let folks know also crime is on the rise in the area as well and when the students are in town it's open season on them in terms of the crime doer's. Also we got to many folks moving here don't promote us to much.
