He’s A Mexican Legend very well know in LatinAmerica passed away a couple months ago. Sinatra was a huge fan of him and requested to do a duet with him but their record labels had some issues and it was never done. BTW I grew up with my mother blasting Jose Jose, Juan Luis Guerra, Roberto, plus many others. On top of those, she constantly played Easy-Listening music, R&B and even Hip Hop; she LOVES Jump Around by House of Pain. I also appreciate the Frank Sinatra fact; I had no idea Frank Sinatra was a fan, let alone fly to Mexico to see him perform and talk to him. Can't thank you enough.

Jose Jose, the prince of the songs, title he won right there in that festival where he won second place and as you can see, people were sure he would win. His voice was a velvety carece to the soul and I cannot imagine my life growing up without his music, Frank Sinatra himself wanted to sing with him and he was one of Jose's biggest fans. Unfortunately he is gone but left quite the legacy in the musical world. Notice he was only 19 in this video... a great singer for sure!! yo are now one of the lucky ones to appreciate his talent, good on you!
