This looks like it could be a Dune game by its dark tone.

The main characters are the ones who look directly at the camera. The droid, the Neimoidian, the human, and whatever those drummers were.

She was born in 262 BBY at the height of the High Republic.
Wears a tiara.
Uses a green lightsaber.
Fits the bill perfectly.

LOOKS SO SICK... except for the fact it's Quantum Dream. People behind Detroit and Heavy Rain. This is probably going to be another talking / quicktime event game people. Don't set your hopes too high.

I'm sceptical about the story. But I'm looking forward to the gameplay. They're going for a more traditional third person action adventure route with The Last of Us as being one of their main inspirations as it's game that focuses on narrative AND gameplay

Lol a cinematic trailer that doesn’t show what game is and will not be in game lol, it’s just something put together to get pre orders . Show some game footage with gameplay. Think enough people have been fooled by this type of marketing
The game is still early in development, they probably don’t have much gameplay to show off. Just wanted the audience to know the game exists
Going by past Quantic Dream games we should probably get a gameplay trailer and first look at one of the characters sometime next year. That happened with Detroit: Become Human where they announced it in 2015 with Kara and then did a Connor gameplay trailer in 2016 and a Marcus gameplay trailer in 2017 before it was released in 2018.

I’ve said this before but Cinematic trailers like this aren’t for pre-orders or even for you. They’re used as a way of attracting people to hire onto the project, QD Paris have been struggling to hire people for a few years and after this trailer they’ll have no shortage of developers wanting to join this project.

The fact that this is the Detroit: Become Human studio is a yellow flag, since their games are interactive movies.
I'm hoping this is an adventure game with RPG elements and character creation. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.

This is apparently an action-adventure open world game and unlike anything Quantic Dream has done before. The only QD DNA we'll see in it is probably the cinematic vision, but the gameplay might be more akin to what you'd normally expect out of a Star Wars game.

@@wizardtower7696 My only source for this is a leaker. The only thing that makes the leaker semi-reputable is that he leaked screenshots of the trailer a week ago, along with some development details like how it has a heavily modified engine and is non-linear action-adventure open world.

Theory: The black figure at the end is summoned when there’s a solar eclipse(hence the name).

It's gonna be a very pretty and polished point and click choose your own adventure game. Not really hyped for it.
The game is being described as “a multi-character adventure”
So look at Detroit become human as an example for the structure this game will follow. Albeit with more action gameplay. And if QD manage to adapt their game engine the way they’re hoping to, the game will also be open world.

You might actually be on to something here, being able to play on different sides of the conflict would be a pretty great feature for replay value

The female Jedi seems to be Avar Kriss, who has an administrative role without much action. It seems unlikely to me she's playable.
