One can tell the clear differences in personalities and influences of different personalities and how it affects their body if one pays close enough attention. They only share a fraction of their life online though, so one sees only a very small and edited portion of their life that doesn't reflect all switches, etc. that happen during a day. They also have been in therapy for a really long time, so they obviously won't present in the same way an unaware system or an unaware host would or like a system that hasn't established (a good amount of) communication yet and that understands how their disorder looks like for them, etc...
One thing baffles me : the court didn’t order him to pay your legal fees back ? It seems easy to sue someone, and have them loose tens of thousands even if they win.

Frankly, I'm starting to think he can't let this court case go because it would mean that his relationship with you all is finally over. He's obsessed and he can't handle the idea of being without you. One difficulty for Kya and Co is that they live in England and Costa is in Portugal. The UK court issued a no contact decree but really have no jurisdiction over a Portugal resident .
Problem is that he has significantly more resources than she does. Ruining her was his strategy, and dragging it out even more is far more likely to hurt her than it is to hurt him.

I truly believe he thought you guys were in some deep relationship, as if being there for someone means that they owe you their love. It's scary that someone can do this. It's easy to imagine a situation where someone is less able to fight this and has basically lost the moment legal action is taken. You've done amazingly, but nobody should ever even have to be in this situation.
Now that you mention that, that is pretty terrifying. I hope Costa does not dig his claws into any other unsuspecting people. Especially women since it seems that’s what he’s looking for essentially.
