Quick tip: you placed the solar array in the concrete dusty range, so you will burn more metal from more frequent maintenance than you would if you space the solar array beyond the octagon shaped spray range and longer cords. Easy fix… if you want to.
"Tax the dude into space." Has been my favorite quote ever since I heard it in one of the Crusader Kings trailers. It always makes me think of Poland. Not because of high taxes, but because in certain games the economy is so good you tech up so quickly the Space Marines are no longer Prussian but Polish.
50 years ago we sent 10 rockets to the moon without too many problems. These days a rocket managing to clear the launch tower before exploding is "exceeding expectations".

Yay, I love this game! Exciting!
Have you tried the “early underground” mod? It really made me enjoy Below & Beyond; basically, it makes the underground buildings much, much cheaper, but all the advanced buildings (including dome spires, stirling generators, triboelectric scrubbers) require exotic minerals to build, which actually forces you to go harvest them from asteroids, which adds to the challenge. 10/10 would recommend!
Pravus, C and V are hotkeys for cables and pipes.
Clicking a leak and pressing delete key deletes the leak without having to go through the salvage menu
You seem to do this the most roundabout way every single series.

Did not think to ever get another SM video from Pravus. Mainly because the first 25 seconds describe it very well. A shame how Paradox fumbles it with SM and the Surviving "franchise".

The main memesong of this game has been stuck in my head for the past week, so it's neat finding out you did a reletively recent series on Surviving mars.
The biggest problem I have with the trains (besides low pop-capacity) is that the trainstations prioritize the population at the bottom of the list, instead of the top, which means if a line starts to form, the people who came to the station first are the last ones to ever get on the train. Since I was trying reeeeeeaaal hard to make Public Transit work for my build, that little tidbit quickly became a huge problem when the population were flowing constantly on my longer Trainroutes. At least that made me figure out that if trainstations get to the point of logistical collapse, you can turn them off in order to force all those populations waiting go into a tunnel and teleport to the tunnel closest to their destination.

The dome is named after Leszek Balcerowicz, a Professor at Warsaw School of Economics and two-term Deputy PM (from 1989 to 1991 and again from 1997 to 2001, currently it's vacant here after 2023 elections).

The only reason i dont play this game is my ps4 overheats too easy due to the rocket. 😅😅. Sadly i would have enjoyed this game. At least Pravus saves the day. Glad we are back to this game. Praise pravus.

Anything above ~1000% is the same difficulty-wise anyway, you're still going to be playing the same way. Having some variety instead of playing the exact same leader/map is more interesting.

Only yesterday I was feeling like playing this game or see if I could find a let's play of it. How did he know? HOW?!? :p
Try 39N84W. Max cold waves, little bit of dust storms and interesting landshape. Everything on the same level. One spot perfect for making lakes. Play as Russia (you can drill shallow metal ores without people. For me it's gamechanger).
