Praying the Lord blows the gases out to unpopulated areas...

Perhaps Reykjavik is listed as green because of the element the article said is not detected in standard tests. The cautions regarding windows and outdoor activities sound like those recommended when air quality is orange or red. So perhaps in this case, follow their guidelines rather than relying on the air quality map.

it's very hazy up here in the Westfjords this morning... but irony, the air quality website has zero sensors up here.

Rob, they mentioned that sulpher can't be detected which I think is great as it smells disgusting, but is there another odour that comes from this mist to detect it in the air whilst mixed with the fog? If it's odourless, it's much more dangerous. This mist looks just like the one I wake up to and fall asleep to most days and nights during the Australian Winter at the base of the Australian Alps. It does clear to a nice sunny day and it would be wonderful if Iceland's gas emissions dissipated too. Take care and thanks for the updates.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

Volcanic emissions are nowhere near human emissions. Sorry to burst your bubble
