Anti-Racist Practice - Allyship

Allyship is an active, consistent and ongoing practice in which a person holding systemic power seeks to end oppression in solidarity with a group of people who are systemically disempowered. Allyship emphasizes social justice, inclusion and human rights by recognizing the experiences of privileged and oppressed groups and acknowledging that an individual can have identities of both privilege and oppression simultaneously. This webinar looks at what it means to be an ally against racism in a Human Services profession.
