How do you keep your braids from getting frizzy after you wash it?
shirley thomas Sis I won’t even lie to you, sometimes depending on the event I throw on a wig or other time’s I re-braid around the edges xx

@@setapartaay925 yea i totally agree. Samantha (located in the Cayman Islands)from newgrowthnaturals.(u-tube channel) She's only does natural hair no weaves or extension of any kind. She says keep the braids for 6wks. Also wash,dc,hot oil etc etc with the braids in.

I'm white, but both of my little sisters are biracial and I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile on them. This was a lot of help and I find it so amazing that you are able to do this on your own.

Lol, I know what you mean when you say, "In my opinion." I never thought to use edge control! I love your final look! Amazing Sis!! Maybe one day when I have the patience to do this to my hair, I will. I did twist before and you're right, they didn't last long! If I did mini braids, those jokers are staying in for at least 4 weeks!!
LOL!!!!!! & Yes edge control really helps with parting your hair and making your parts nice and CRISP. I'm all about doing hairstyles that will last LOL because I dont want to have to do it all the time!

if you blow dry your hair, use a good edge control, and also braid the root first to get a tighter grip then start twisting hope that helps :)

Yess, girl! My hair dries out quickly, and my twists don't last that long either, but I'll braid my hair any day. It's definitely becoming my to go style after wash day, especially since my hair is getting longer. And you were rocking those braids! They look good on you 😘
Love the braids, I'll have to take out some time to do this one day. And the hand mirror tip is a good one, I've been doing that since I was 7 or 8 doing my own hair. Mom didn't know how to do hair very well, and I was tired of the part down the middle with 2 ponytails.🤣

To keep your 2 strand twist from frizzy up apply mousse once your done and ensure you twist your hair while it's damp.
