I'm thinking about dropping my 14 2 inches. Just using megan racing lowering springs. Besides alignment, anything else I should tweak?
2 inch sounds good . If you like can option for rear camber kits to correct the camber other than that normal alignment should be enough for daily and it wont hurt the tyres as you only go for 2 inch drop. :)

These coilovers have the adjustable ride height, correct? Did you install them set as tall as they could be, as short as they could be, or somewhere in the middle?
Yes the coils have the adjustable damper and ride heights. I had it installed on middle height setting. But once i had them low. I didnt like it as our roads are very bad had pot holes here n there everywhere.
What is the measurement of the shock, and coil spring for both the front and rear? Or do you have the parts number? Thank you
wont be able to tell as ive sold the coilovers unit. Have you check bc racing website they have the in depth details about these coilover kit.

unfortunately ive revert back to stock as someone bought the coilover off me. :) yes it has no problem when i sold it couple years back.
Is there a special way to get the bottom of the shock absorber off? I have removed the bottom nut from the shock. The shock will not give. This car has been fighting be left and right. Any suggestions would be awesome 😎 you make it look simple in the video. Mine isn’t going as smoothly. I have a 2014 cx-5. Thanks 🙏🏾
You have to jack up the car both side so theres no tension againts the shock.
I have it jacked up. I removed the spring and the two bolts at the top of the strut. The strut was destroyed. The mouth slip in half into two pieces when I removed the bolts

Halo Bro Alvin. Salam kenal. Ini sudah bulan ke 4 saya pake Coilovernya. Coilovernya masih bagus dan holding strong . Ridenya saya setting untuk comfort saja dampening (10 click) depan , (8 click) belakang. Tidak terlalu keras dan tidak terlalu bouncy . Yang kemaren sempet ngerasa kyk basket ball yang duduk di belakang skarang malah tidak ada complain lagi semua nya di arbsorb dengan coilovernya ini . Dampening nya untuk versi ini sudah cukup bagus untuk jalanan di Indonesia , Saya jg setting coilovernya cuman 3 jari all round tidak on the lowest setting jadi masih ada suspension travelnya. Jujur kalo muat 3 orang di belakang untuk settingan height saya masih bisa dibilang oke feelingnya mirip standard. Hope this helps .

would love to purchase some coilovers and install them myself but they cost to much, so I'll purchase springs instead, but thanks for the upload of this video, the rear didn't seem to hard and the front, wished you would showed more but you sorta cut some of the video off, but thanks again though. Did you ever get camber kits? and how back is the camber?
Tom Nguyen aha yes springs will also good option for the sportier looks . Apologize not making the video clear as possible :( . With my current ride ive only drop it 1.5 inch all round so i didnt do the camber kit . There wont be much camber on the rear tires. But if you are going for slammed looks . Definately camber kit are needed to correct the tires angle. :)

robby dio halo bro. Untuk add on lips depan ya. Yg saya pake itu cuma front under garnish dari Mazda OEM accessories. Untuk lampu LED bar nya beda lagi itu Mazda OEM accessory luar negeri. Performa setelah pasang coilovernya lebih baik dari pada standard yah kalo menurut sy, body roll berkurang. . Soalnya sebelum pasang coilover rasa kenyamanan di bagian belakang sedikit terlalu keras buat saya. Tapi sekarang setelah setel lebih terasa empuk dijalan kita.

Felix Dan ohh spt itu, saya kebetulan psang utk mazda 2, sudh dapat fitment ny, tapi kalo didongkrak bagian belakang, pernya sepeti ingin copot krn ga ada pressure dibagian springnya, seperti molos gitu, jadi shock nya ketinggian gitu pak
@@fauzanbaihaqy4463 iya btul jika per nya seperti mau copot brarti preload spring nya masih salah. Harus setting shocknya juga di pendekin spaya sesuai dengan springnya.

Hi Felix Dan, saya mau pasang coilover. Ada beberapa opsi tein, tanabe lalu lihat BC jadi pengen juga. Tujuanya cuma mau lebih comfort dari standard yg terlalu kaku. Dan sebisa mungkin tingginya sama dgn standar. Pakai BC bisa sama kah tingginya? Kalau diset max tingginya turun atau sama berapa cm?
Kalo pasang coilover dengan settingan tertinggi bakal lebih rendah mas dr standart. Coilover bs di setting keras lembut nya. Kalo kemaren BC racing sy pernah setel damper nya menjadi lembut dan itu nyaman bgt dr pada suspensi standart. Kalo Tein atau Tanabe bakal lebih empuk lagi soalnya merk jepang lebih bagus buatannya. Dengan coilover setelan turun nya bisa sampe dengan 4" - 5" tergantung modelnya. BC lebih ke arah budget coilover.
@@FelixDanGarasiAuto kalo pakai shock absorber tein endurapro plus compare coilover, apakah lebih tinggi shock absorber? Tentu ganti per tein juga.
@@baniangga4886 tein endura shock ya. Ketinggian mirip sama standart tp jauh lebih empuk dari standart. Kecuali mas ganti juga ke lowering spring Tein S tech mobilnya jadi lebih pendek 2 inci.

Mas.. knp ga pake eibach aja?? Apa beda nya sih selain bisa di setting2.. saya mau beli eibach.. tp tmn ad yg jual bc ini 5jt.. jd bingung.. soalnya saya baru pasang 20 ban 255/45.. duh kerasa limbung bgt.. biasa nya di tol berani 140.. ini 110 udh berasa getar2 halus.. apa lg klo niking..
Halo bro. Apakah sdh di balancing roda nya. Seharusnya tidak bergetar sih.. coilover kelebihannya bisa di atur tinggi rendah nya dan keras lembut nya. Jadi setting sesuai pemakaian sehari hari. Tapi kekurangannya kalo coilover nya uda bekas pakai lama biasanya penyakitnya shocknya aga lemah dan bisa terjadi suara berisik di kabin mobil dan kurang stabil. Eibach juga sbnernya bagus. tapi tidak bisa di setting tinggi rendah. kalo tidak mau ribet pake lowering spring aja.

Hi Bro , Kalau baru harga retailnya 12jt an . Untuk bekas saya kemaren lihat ada yang mau lepas di 9jt masih bisa nego . Bantingan suspensi lebih empuk tapi harus di setting dampening nya pakai fitur dampening adjuster di coilovernya nanti tinggal di puter saja berapa klik" sesuai dengan pemakaiannya . Kalo di setel maximum setting sudah pasti lebih not comfortable banding dengan suspensi Original Mazda CX 5 , saran saya kalo di set sekitar 6 - 8 klik medium setting (depan & belakang) sudah cukup comfort lebih enak dari suspensi original Mazda CX 5. Felix Dan Do you have the halogen or led headlights ? I have halogen and wanted to delete the fuse of DRL lights, but there is no fuse.(H15 has got the high beams and DRL combined). In a video I saw a guy deleting that fuse and it worked.How is it possible that my lights work if there is no fuse? ( maybe it's a European solution that you can not easily delete the fuse)
Mine r bixenon version . I would just take out the bulb out if theres no DRL fuse on the fuse box . Otherwise bring to dealer to disable via mazda obd computer .
Felix Dan yeah I can try to ask the dealer, but most of the time the have no clue about "their" on product. If I would take them out I will have no high beam, because the H15 bulbs are 2 in 1 ( high beams and DRL).

How much does this set cost. I also consider doing this , because my Mazda 3 is pretty soft in the back.
I bought mine 2nd hand . Got it for around $700 USD. New they cost about $1000 usd .
