"who besides me will ever read these letters?" Well Anne you and the rest of the world will see your letters. She was a real thinker especially for someone her age.
she never said she was a hero; she said that she had to do what she had to do. now THAT is a true hero in my eyes....god bless and rest in peace, Miep Gies!
I love Anne Frank but it seems like EVERYONE forgets about Margot I mean theres 6 million stories to hear but everyone only listens to Anne's forgetting that's only one of them...
It was said that there were bits of the diary. That Anne's father took out Anne speaking of fights with her father and mother. An other things he did not want people know. An if I heard right after Frank's death and just before Miep died. She found the discared pages and they were going to be placed in future publications of the diary.
@hananalasadi97 thats the same thing that happened to me. we was watching the 1957 movie the one that was in black and white. and the teacher says that miep died and everybody was shocked! Cause she helped anne' family. and she was only a 100 years old.
At first when it was published in 1952 Otto said keep the frank's family name real but use the nicknames that anne used for privacy. But in later editions people knew who they were so they put their real names on.
Kleiman gave Bep his wallet to go the drugist (pharmacy) at the lady grock which is spelt wrong (a dutch name for a street in Amsterdam) to get her out of the house. So when she went there, she was going to show the pharmacy owner the wallet, to also show that she knew Miep, and so that bep could ring kleiman's wife and tell her what had happened and another reason was for bep to not go back to the house. Luckily no one saw her leave the house.
Hi,The names in the diary were different because Anne gave them nicknames. The van pels (Peter,Auguste and hermann)were called the Van Daan family.Fritz pfeffer (Dentist) was called Mr dussel (Stupid/idiot in Dutch or German I think). As for helpers, Victor Kugler- Mr. Kraler in Anne's Diary Johannes Kleiman- Mr. Koophuis in Anne's Diary.
That's not quite true actuslly. Translation may not be correct. Edith came in and said " yes, we have a dsughter that writes." And Anne said " yes, and I write about you too!" So she directed that comment at Edith and Miep said "well, that'll be something"
Am sorry, but what do you mean? Tell me the minute and second on what you are on about. Am sorry, maar wat wil je? Vertel me de minuut en de tweede op wat je op gaat. reply back :) antwoord terug :)

cecilia, i agree, but not only her, everyone else who helped the frank family.
Good for Miep telling Otto off about talking to Feffer. And Anne, though a teenager as Gould have been more considerate
Yeah one thing i think they where hard on him they could have showed a bit more compassion to him
Me and Anne are alike in so many ways!
I think she would have been thrilled to know she became famous for her diary. If only she could see today how many people know her name.
wow! i would love to see pictures of you and anne and compare them you must be a really gorgous lady
Indeed

Victor Kugler- Mr. Kraler in Anne's Diary
Johannes Kleiman- Mr. Koophuis in Anne's Diary.
Miep and Jan’s last name was Van Santen, Auguste as Petronella, Bep as Elli Vossen
Is Anne Frank Remembered on here somewhere I cant find it and i really wanna see it
I wonder if for the rest of her life if even hearing a German accent caused a PTSD reaction. I don’t think I’d ever be able to hear that accent again.
Hi I have explained it below in a reply to anotherapplemacbook. Hope this helps
@hananalasadi97 omg i'm in 8th grade so did we! did u watch the hannah taylor gordan version? thats wat we watched.

I love hearing about anne Frank & the family
She doesn't...she just speaks 'normal' Dutch.
