- My book, Pretty Birds, 18 simple Projects to sew and love, has 18 adorable little bird projects to sew! This fairy wren is one of my favorites :) . Visit my shop at gingercake.big... to purchase your copy for just $15 including free shipping to USA residents!
If you have been sewing awhile, you have probably started to gather a pile of scrap fabrics. These scraps are loved because they remind you of all the projects you have sewn with them. They are also a source of stress to many of us because we just don't know what to do with them all. Pretty Birds deals with small pretty scrap fabrics in a fun and whimsical way!
Due to copyright issues, you must purchase the book to get the bitly code to download the pattern pieces. Please understand not only the work that I have put into this projects but also the work of editors, printers and publicists have put into this book.
A fairy wren is a native bird to Australia with beautiful bright blue feathers. Here is a link to learn more information ebird.org/spec... .

I purchased the book and have made the wren, thanks for your tutorial and looking forward to trying some more birds 🦜
I love the woodpecker! He'd look so cute in my Christmas tree! Or in my sister's tree, or my Mom's... Great little gifts!
he is one of my favorites too! I gave that one to my mom for her tree!
@@gingercakesews we get a decent amount of woodpeckers at our house and so do my parents. I really enjoy seeing them. My Dad somehow turned me into a bird watcher. 👀🐦🕊️🦅
We live in a semi rural area with a valley near us, so we see a variety of birds. I love the heron that nest near us. We've had a couple eagles here as well.
I loved this, can't wait to make it and I will be looking out for your book. 🐦
So cute. Easy to follow you. Thanks.
very cute project I feel I can make; wondered about how you sew on the beak & that was really easy! So fun to see your other birds.
You could use two small beads for the eyes, it would look so much more complete.
Very cute! Thanks for the tutorials
so cute!!! love it!!
Very cute!!
I have your book! I’m going to get it out and include some birds with some face masks I want to make for family.
This is so cute, I adore birds, glad this popped up. I usually use scraps to stuff, but this makes me want to invest in polyfill again. Is your getting sewing business started book going to be available again soon?
It is available! Over on Amazon at amzn.to/33m1zwZ. Thanks for asking :)
Great video also love the unicorns in the background is there possibly a pattern for them
good eye Sacha! That pattern is in the works. I pretty much have it finished but I am going to release it in January :) . I love it so much!
Thanks for sharing this cute tutorial. The sound is really low, though.
Sorry! I know the beginning is loud and then the middle is more quiet but when i adjust my volume it sounds normal. I am learning some new software which isn't really my forte :)
if you put head phones on you can hear well
I just found you! I was disappointed to see this book sold out.

Hi! I have lots of free tutorials here on my channel! Unfortunately I cannot give you the link for this one. I'm so sorry for your situation 😒
Some libraries will deliver Books to homebound persons. Maybe you could inquire at your local library. Best wishes.

Virginia, I just watched a video by "Kelly Barlow Creation's" and she is warning everyone that has a you tube channel about the new FTC COPPA law that is flagging all videos that pertain to children or crafts that would pertain to children. PLEASE! Go watch her newest video on her channel so she can explain things better to you than I can. If your not in compliance by the 10th of December they can fine you $42000+ per video.
Liz! Thank you for looking out for me. there is a box to check if your videos are specifically for children. I just don't check it even though my videos would be fine for kids of course! To my understanding, that is all I have to do. But I will go check it out :)
