    I would love if you could make a video on "tips to sew stretch fabric on industrials without seams popping" and such. I've seen you sew a lot of stretchy fabrics on your industrials and I have been wondering the best practices of going about doing so.

      I stretchy my fabric while I sew. Another option is to use a serger to sew the seams. They’ll maintain the stretch in your fabric without the threads popping.

    Hi, I have a question after putting my pants together sewing the outseam, the crouch and the inseam. when I’m done. I noticed that the bottom of the pants are not lined up. Can you tell me what causes that because when I cut it out it lined up, but when I sew it, it’s not lined up, please help me. Thank you.

    • @sewquaint
      @sewquaint  Před 10 měsíci

      you have to pin them together before sewing so that it stays in alignment.

    You say put fabric right sides together. But then you say u put it wrong sides together. WHY DID U PUT IT WRONG SIDES TOGETHER? I am now and u are confusing me.

    • @sewquaint
      @sewquaint  Před rokem

      I’m sure I was doing a French seam. With that method, you put the fabric wrong sides together first and sew with a 1/4” allowance then right sides together and sew with a 1/2” allowance

    • @sewquaint
      @sewquaint  Před rokem

      If you have a serger you can just put it right sides together and sew with a 1/2” allowance and finish the raw edges. Or you could leave it just like that because spandex doesn’t fray
