@@TheMagicDads California Grill is my favorite restaurant at Disney. They still have their pre fixed menu. I would recommend the Valrhona Ganache Torte for dessert!

Steve, there IS a graceful way of eating a big piece of bread.
Put a "blob" of butter on your individual plate Tear off a bite-sized piece of bread. Butter just that one small piece. Put the whole bite in your mouth.
There you go. No gnawing on a giant piece of bread. 😊
Please don't let me see you gnawing on a big piece of bread again. This is how polite society has enjoyed bread for a couple hundred years.

Curious if you experienced the new parking situation everyone has been complaining about? If you valet, it's no different, but I saw other vloggers said that non-valet parking is now across the street from the resort where employees park and they actually experienced a cast member changing out of costume right next to their vehicle.
No, I haven't heard of that, we valet when we have dining reservations. That's strange though.
@@TheMagicDads we always Uber or monorail when we stay. Also thought that was sad and strange for such a lovely resort. Management at the restaurants have been very apologetic and say it's a decision coming from the top so hopefully they will remedy! Great review!

How much was the surf & turf without the turf? I'm about a week away from being able to make ADRs, and tossed Narcoossee's aside because the kiddo loves steak, but she's not going to eat the lobster. And lobster isn't cheap, so I don't want to pay for it if she's not going to eat it. Also, I couldn't quite make out the name of the restaurant Steve said about your favorite steak place on Disney property. What was it?
Also, FYI since y'all go to Hawaii a lot. Summer isn't lobster season in Hawaii. It'll illegal to catch lobsters in any month that doesn't have an R in it (May, June, July, and August). Summer is lobster-breeding season, and you'll get fined big time if caught catching lobsters during those months.
Thanks for the info! So, there was also a NY Strip on the menu for $59, I think we paid around that for the filet. In our opinion, the BEST steak in Disney is at Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera Resort.
