Cimo is right: Paleozoic is Gage's best deck but he should swap out next week to Cimo doesn't find the best cards (Trap Stun) to best them.
Maybe Gage should try that Barrier Statue Lock again.
Problem with Trap Stun is that it doesn't stop Paleos from Special Summoning themselves and in fact facilitates a Paleo summon. Gage will likely gain more than he loses if Cimo runs it.

in tcg its at the discretion of the judge if you shuffle or not. Most judges in most situations will have you shuffle but its def something you want to ask your local judge

So after asking my local judge just to be sure the way Cimoo did that chain in game 3 was a legal activation . Torrential doesn't care when it activates in the chain so long as its still in the summon window, same with droll and bottomless
@@ne0w01f3Yes, but the summon must have been the last thing to have happened. If Dinomischus is CL1, then a monster being summoned was not the last action to occur and Torrential cannot activate
Couldnt he have activated it later with any other summon? Its not like activating it at that point specifically matters that much, and its not like Torrential is a trap thats hard to trigger.

Yes, it's an illegal move, but both Cimo and Gage clearly didn't realize Torrential missed timing.

@@OsirusHandlehe would still have to deal with Downerd since he had to use the Paleo for Toad if it's swapped around (he can't use both Ronin because one of them is still under Cat Shark until after TA is summoned).
7100 - 1150 means Cimo gets another turn unless Gage does something more.
It isn't as big a deal as some are making it out to be because he probably can do it still if he organized the plays better (and even if he can't 450 LP isn't much to work with) but you're wrong about it being that simple.

Everyone mentioning that if Gage targetted Toad with cat shark its the same is wrong. He detached Ronintoadin with that detach so that was the way he was able to extend into Toad. He had no lethal line.
He uses two Ronin for Totally Awesome, but also has a Paleo on the field at the end anyway.
He didn't need the detach, he just would have had less damage on board assuming he did nothing else.
And obviously he could have done it a different way if he realized.
Would there have been enough? Who knows, but he would have had less than 500 life points left even if nothing else changed so it's not like Cimo was in a great position.

The attack increase could have been done in a different order and still be good. The Torrential was a big one. However, letting the Dante Ride or even allowing him to make Dante is what sealed is fate. Gage got too cocky for his own good. If he wants to stop being behind he really needs to start checking himself. He had game 3 locked, Gnome was immediate answer. Gage I love you but please stop throwing games like this. 😭

I'm confused on torrrental being called a cheat. It was still in the summon window, so why can't Alex activate it?
Torrential is a when effect. You can’t respond to the summon of a paleo with torrential cause it misses timing. Example: you activate jar of greed as chain link 1. Chain a paleo in gy to effect of Jar. Chain resolves. Paleo is summoned and you draw a card. Torrential misses timing
So the Paleo was summoned as a Chain Link 2, Torrential can only be activated when the summon of a Monster is Chain Link 1 or against cards that don't start a chain. As long as a card is summoned in CL1 or lower Torrential can always be activated no matter how high in the chain Torrential is.
So why is coder saying that it does work

@@Toranry The summon has to be CL1 (or built-in) for torrential to "see" it because its a "when" effect. So you can torrential a normal summon or someone using monster reborn to summon, but paleos are always CL2 or higher so you can't torrential them.
I dont think it was game determinative, couldve activated torrential at any other time either. Not like the timing interrupted a combo, it was just a board wipe

I swear to god there has to be a rule in place that forces them to use their redoer tickets, cimo keeps holding them FOR NO REASON even when it would be a really good idea to reroll, for someone that lives in vegas he's really against gambling his odds to get something better, which just makes for a worse viewing experience, what's the point of having the tickets if they're just not going to use it?
My suggestion is to add an expiration date for the tickets, if they don't get used for more than 5 episodes they should start to expire or something, just anything would be better than their current system.

calm down. you misunderstand. torrential can be cl3 if cl1 was in response to a summon, but torrential can't be cl1 or any other chain link on a new chain unless the last thing that happened was a summon. you're right! it is a known ruling!
