Rare Alternative Version of Barney Live! In New York City (Lost Media)

Here’s a rare alternative version of Barney Live! In New York City called Showstoppers from… Barney Live! In New York City that aired on PBS in August 1994. Just like Imagination Island which came out the same year this also aired on television but also the same time when it was released on VHS in August of that year. However unlike Imagination Island the original tv airing of Barney Live! In New York City has yet to fully surface online, as only partial recordings of the tv airing has surfaced online.
While there doesn’t seem to be much differences compared to the VHS releases there is noticeable differences which there are transitions and most interestingly, commentary lines from Barney himself. In the July 9, 2022, upload of the original tv airing of the live show by CZcamsr The Barney Vault, there’s a line commentated by Barney at the end of the show which couldn’t be heard in the rest of that upload. However more uploads of Barney’s commentary lines would later be uploaded by CZcamsr Dylan Herrera on February 3, 2022. Which besides the full original tv airing of Barney Live! In New York City still hasn’t fully surfaced online we do seem to have all of Barney’s commentary lines from the original tv airing which seemed like they were removed in later airings of the show. So here’s a compilation I made of all of Barney’s commentary lines of the original tv airing of Barney Live! In New York City. I thought of making this because of its obscurity so more people can be aware about these commentary lines existence. So enjoy these extremely rare pieces of Barney history.

Oh I don’t mind kids watching it the disclaimer is just there because of CZcams. Ever since late 2019 CZcams violated the Coppa law which resulted them to turn off comments on videos that they think that it’s made for kids. Even if you mark a video not made for kids there could be a chance that CZcams will mark it anyway.
