This song was firstly recorded by the band named Bajm in 1982 (a great song even then!). At that time the text referred to the martial law imposed by the communists in December 1981, and now it suits perfectly the COVID reality... Adam Sztaba, was the conductor and the creator of the whole idea. He wrote on his social media, that he was looking for the musicians to play this song. The musicians were sent the notes and they played it separately using the metronome only and then they sent it back. The artists sang the song to the original music. Then other guy was synchronising it all together. Music to this was recorded in 6 days (only)... Than they added vocalists. Than they've became the biggest on line Orchestra in the number of 732 pepole involved... And the best part is that no one, including the members of orchestra knew nothing about what is going on untill it was published on yt... Vocalists knew notking about the band, the orchestra members knew nothing about the vocalists and each other untill it was all over
olbrzymia praca w tym komentarzu. brawo.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🥰
👍👍👍
Dziekuję 💐👍
Dziękuję za ten komentarz!
Yes, these are famous singers in Poland. The song comes from the 80s. It was performed by the band Bajm. This is a refreshed version by Adam Sztaba. He invited over 700 people to this project during the pandemic.
This is Poland - this is the Polish spirit.
This song was created in 1982. There was "martial law" in Poland, tanks were roaming the streets and we had a curfew. Demonstrators were shot at. It's a bit of a prayer in times of uncertainty and chaos.
And a few years later there was a miracle... Poland become independent...
My birth year - and now I live in Poland. I'm very fortunate.
To złudzenie z tą wolnością
@@simoncastleton6420same mine 😏😎
@@alicjazigmanska2319niestety zgodzę się..
I took part of this epic collaboration as a drummer. Cheers!
Znanych bardziej i jeszcze anonimowych. W czasach pandemii treść utworu nabiera innego znaczenia. Wchodzimy na wyższy poziom odbioru. Pięknie dziękuję Ci za tę reakcję. Pozdrawiam z Polski 👍👍💕
The song "Co mi Panie dasz" was written in 1982 by Beata Kozidrak, the vocalist of the Bajm band. (If you understand Polish history from 1945 to 1989, you will understand the lyrics of the song 😊).
During the COVID-19 epidemic, composer Adam Sztaba prepared a new arrangement of the song.
732 musicians participated in the online recording. Private individuals recorded videos playing various instruments, and then they sent them to Adam, and his team edited the video clip.
Professional vocalists who took part in the recording:
Cleo, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Piotr Cugowski, Kasia Moś, Igor Herbut, Andrzej Piaseczny, Olga Szomańska, Natalia Kukulska, Ewa Farna, Kuba Badach, Kasia Wilk, Natalia Nykiel, Ania Karwan, Sebastian Karpiel, Patrycja Markowska, Damian Ukeje.
If you're interested, before Adam Sztaba, other great Polish vocalists created covers:
Edyta Górniak, the duo Gaba Kulka & Czesław Mozil, Dawid Podsiadło with Tomasz Organkiem.
Depending on the performer, covers have different performance styles. Take a look on CZcams at the original rendition: 'Co mi panie dasz' by Bajm in 1983 and compare it to the covers :D
Good LUCK Bro.
Chcę powiedzieć, dziękuję i powodzenia życzę.
I have no idea why, but every time I listen to this my eyes are 'getting wet'. All those violins just triggers me. Adam Sztaba made piece of art.
We Poles have wonderful musicians and musical culture, outstanding musicians, music schools, music academies, we simply have an army of wonderful musicians of the highest class, what's up?
Wspaniała piosenka Beaty Kozidrak w niecodziennym wykonaniu.
They are popular Polish singers ❤

It was the time of Covid, everyone was sitting at home and looking for some contact with other people and came up with various ideas via the Internet. The text is about the uncertainty of existence - "What will you give us, Lord, for this uncertain time..."
732 musicians and 16 singers took part in this project. They did it for 6 days. Everyone recorded their fragment in their own home . And Adam Sztaba he folded it .
I simply love your reactions! These are known Polish artists here covering a famous song from the 80s. It was done during the Covid lockdown.
Project during the pandemic, absolutely amazing ❤ music is a true cure for our heart and soul 👌
I know Adam Sztaba personally, he was the teacher of my parents and he is convinient, and actually my parents are playing in this song, that's my flex :))
This film was created in response to the fact that at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, people were locked at home and did not know what would happen next. WHAT WILL YOU GIVE ME, LORD, is a question to God asked by people who are unsure of their future.
These are professional musicians, wonderful job done!
If I can suggest an amazing Polish musician, I would recommend Marcin Patrzalek, he is only 22 but already deserved to be named the best acoustic guitarist in the world, in my opinion "of all time". He has his YT account and every arrangement of famous songs is a pure masterpiece ❤️
Yes, I can agree
It seems to me that this project was created when the "coronavirus" was raging and many people were "trapped" in quarantine. It was a time of reflection and, to some extent, loneliness for some. Thanks to such projects and joint works, our artists did not become stupid and honed their skills even though they were confined to four walls. This is also the message of this song, "we don't know what new things tomorrow will bring us."
SZTABA Ty wariacie :)
Incredible.
To było online w pandemii. ❤🙏😘 dziękuje!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski ♥️🙋🇵🇱🤗
Studio Accantus best music
Yes, they are very famous singers. One of them is Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka, leader of the band Zakopower. It is a band playing folk - rock music. I recommend it
Never saw this performance before. Impressive. Your Polish pronunciation is getting better with every content! The title of this song is btw "What will you give me, Lord?".
This version was created during Covid. Amazing. ❤
Lets see Witcher Night to remember 😁. There has been no reaction to Witcher for a long time. Great reaction, glad you liked it. Regards
Yaay! I recommended this song several days ago, but I never imagined You'll actually make reaction for it. It's a remake made by Polish musicians during first covid lockdown I think. That's why every person was recorded separately and later combined. Also words are expressing anxiety of that time. Great reaction. Thanks!
To jakby życie przeleciało przed oczami, polskimi oczami.
All best and famous singers in PL♥️
Justyna Steczkowska w Szansie na sukces " Boskie Buenos" GENIALNE WYKONANIE!!!!!!!!
I can just say since I heard that version I felt in love. Normally I am not a fan of remakes. But Stars did great job on this not easy song.❤ Thanks for explaining things because I have Scottish family and you make things easier for them to understand.
If you like that you are going to love Piotr Rubik songs with his choir. My favorite is "niech mówią że to nie jest miłość" or "psalm dla ciebie"
Genialne 😊
Master class. The first class all over the world.
1:18 would like to see his face when someone explain him whos son is this guy. 😊 Jest taki samotny dom😊
732 musicians took part in the recording. The best thing is that they created it during the pandemic, when each artist recorded his verse at home. Composer Adam Sztaba put these recordings together secretly from them, without telling them what it was about.
The singers are one of the most popular in Poland and the song is old but so meaningful and powerful. Someone said that back in communism times rebellious messages could only be conveyed in music in a hidden way. Some of singers here were: Igor Herbut (Lemon band - MUST listen to), Anna Karwan, Natalia Nykiel, Natalia Kukulska,
yes, definitely listen to LemON! it's one of my favourite polish bands, i love their music
It was a pandemic project. The conductor and arranger, the guy at the beginning and the end of the video, Adam Sztaba asked people to send him their interpretation of the song to a backing track he prepared. All the vocalist are renowned Polish singers, while the instumentals were provided by "normies". Sztaba then pieced together this video of all submissions.
You can also look up live version of the same song by Cleo - the woman who starts singing in this version, also arranged by Sztaba - it was performed about a year earlier to similar arrangement and it definitely inspired this project.
A wonderful arrangement by Adama Sztaba, great instrumentalists and, of course, great tributes to the editors, all while we were all locked at home during the pandemic. The original is more than 20 years old. A song by Beata Kozirak and the band Bajm. Best regards
Oryginał ma ponad 40 lat 🙂
Szkocki akcent jest "funky" :)
Trochę jak polski 😅
This was done by famous Polish singers and professional orchestra players. It was arranged in this unusual way because of the Covid lockdown. Still blows my mind how well they managed to pull it off.
Uwielbiam ten kawalek i glos Beaty Kozidrak!moje lata dziecinstwa i pierwsze poczatki ze spiewaniem!😊
Thank you for your reaction❤️
Listen to the songs of the Polish artist Jann, he's a brilliant artist - Gladiator, The Letter and others❤
Yes very powerful!🤩❤️

Gerry Cinnamon 🏴 Gerry is amazing as well 👌👌👌
🇵🇱🤝🏴
During this video there was like 2-3 times where you wanted to comment but was overwhelmed by music and just shut up and kept reacting. I just wanted to say i loved that :D
Very great composer Adam Sztaba !!!! wow. Pianist arranger.
This are famous Polish singers some of them are kids of the Krzysztof Cugowski and Natalia Kukulska her mum was as well famous and the rest of them are just great
This is amazing❤
3:56 These are polish best of the best. Polish top singers.
For those, who might not know it, the apple pie here is not the cake, it's the drink made of bison straw vodka (żubrowka) with apple juice :)
Wow🔥
Graet reaction, thanks! Yes, it's a msterpiese of music, talent and IT skills 🙂
When you paused, I hoped you'll use "J" key to go back a little, but you continued without that effect "wow" in this part of the song.
Mistrz SZTABA!!
Horytnica-Mój Hymn
🔥🔥🔥wow🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for your reaction. I was very interested how have you reacted of this song.♥
Your Polish pronunciation is really good👍The original version singing by Beata Kozidrak and Bajm is still the best in my opinion.❤️🇵🇱🇨🇦
Ale ta wersja również,,wymiata"! Jest naprawdę suuuper!❤
Piękny kawalek❤
Was waiting for you to react to this! Thanks
Kochamy Adasia❤
Jacek Kaczmarski "Mury" I would say represents his voice gratly but my favourit is "obława" there are 4 parts to this song, Dżem "do kołyski", "List do M", Maryla Rodowicz "Niech żyje bal"
I've never seen this one but not bad , huh? 😆... there is a collection of currently most popular Polish singers and musicians here (not all of them🙃).
Maybe this is something made during covid lock-down, when such projects were a way to escape from just sitting home alone.
PS. How about reaction to polonaise dance? II
ll keep reminding this subject.
Wow! Thanks for sharing.
Or maybe some great cover from Polish Metal Alliance? Painkiller or Master of Puppets?
I did not know that orkiestra version, thanks for that :)
You need to take into account the context of the time when this recording was made. It was the time of Covid, when everyone was stuck at home and wanted to do something, the lyrics of the song related to the uncertainty of the next day are also important.
Super wykonanie
You are so genuine, subscribed
❤❤❤
3:12 - Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka - pop (Polish singer, musician and violinist. IS AN ARCHITECT TOO , HE IS GENIOUS
That was made during C-19 lockdown in Poland. That`s why it was made at home.
Thank you!❤
hmm strong voices
This project was created in "covid time" when it was "lock down" in Poland
Thank you
I think one of these artists you have already reacted to. It's Ania Karwan from Aleją Gwiazd 🙂
02:48 yur face inpression tell us everything. I am glad and happy that I found Your channel for thiese sad days.
Greetings from Poland
04:10 - It's Natalia. Her mum was a singer too. She died in a plane crash in Warsaw in 1980 PLL LOT flight 007
I reccomend Studio Accantus , they have awesome Disney and musicals arrangement in Polish
Wspaniałe ❤️
Mamy więcej takich perełek ,posłuchaj Janna z The Letter, Marcina Patrzałka wykonanie Moonligh sonata i inne, gorąco polecam 👍👋
Super
This song was shot during the pandemic, everyone sat at home in front of the camera, they recorded it and then put it together
I recommend:
Tak smakuje życie - Mała Armia Janosika - Igrzyska Olimpijskie Kraków 2023 ( z rep. Zespołu Enej )
You need to watch "I Want To Know What Love Is" perfomed by Bracia, Krzysztof Cugowski and Sound'n'Grace
To utwór Beaty Kozidrak "Co mi Panie dasz" w nowej wersji - zaśpiewany przez polskich artystów wraz z orkiestrą w czasie pandemii.
I also suggest listening to a Most popular Polish (Rock/Blues) Music band "Dżem".

In the 1980s, when this song was performed by the band "Bajm", I did not like this song. But this performance is powerful and it really moved me :)
Fantastycznie
