Your videos are my favorite. So we’ll explained!!

That guy untangling his twists repeatedly has the largest sphincter ever recorded.

Be very careful with trying to stop the twist by reaching for the risers. There have been many people skydiving and paragliding who have gotten their arms stuck in twisted risers, preventing them from reaching the reserve.

Thank you for the tip. We are normally less dynamic in the rotation but sometimes that would defiantly apply.

1:10 "At the top". If you watch twists on YT you'll see 99% of the time people grab the risers _below_ the twist and start pulling sideways on them which does nothing.

I always love your videos because you get yourself in so much trouble when you don't seem to worry at all. If the wind had picked up and you were landing with a backwards motion as far as ground speed would it be okay to flip around 180 and land face and backwards.

He takes risks, he is probably the Jack Sparrow ;)

What do you mean by "kick it out" Jocky? Can't see specifically what you are doing to recover.

To sum up if I got it right :
1 : prevent twist from developping with your hands above it
2 : if twist if there and locks the brakes use rear risers to turn
3 : If it starts a spiral go for the reserve
Something similar happened to me in SIV recently, but the reserve failed to deplay bc it got caught by the spin of the wing and tangled in the lines
Do you have some advice on how to reserve throw in that situtation to maximize deployement chances ?

yes, through the reserve out towards your feet if you are in a SAT like rotation. it must be thrown away from the centre of rotation when in a spin, but it often goes up in the lines, but it will deploy from there if you pull it and get some air into the reserve. it then opens.

What keeps reserve from tangling/interfering with the main?

Hi, it's basically action, reaction. The glider has a forward speed so when the reserve is out it fly's away from the force of it. But you should get your main in and descend under your reserve, because they can bash into each other.
