Walking across the entirety of the most mountainous country in Europe, it sounded like fun idea! This is the European country of Andorra, sandwiched between France and Spain, we decided to walk its entire length from north to south. Located high in the Pyrenees, Andorra is one of the least visited and least known countries in Europe but it may well be one of the most beautiful! Hiking through the country on this challenge, we saw some incredible mountain scenery. It was incredible tough hike, but this is a challenge that will stay with us forever.

Would you fancy walking across an entire country? Wonderful way to see it! 😉
In a heartbeat. That'd be a nice day's walk, with coffee and breakfast thrown in, and cows will bells to greet you! Anytime!
Downhill walking is surprisingly hard. I learned that the hard way in Norway. It does not take a lot of energy but it does take a lot of strength.
I am 66 now so my hiking is 6k at the best. Tip.... shoes are a be or not to be. I use Alfa. They give me a lot of free k. :)
Thank you so much for your advice, we’ll definitely take a look at Alfa before the next time ❤️❤️
Matt and Julia, I thoroughly enjoy your videos, and your friendly banter with each other! I always look forward to more content❤
Thank you so much Cathie! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
I’m proud of the three of you! Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
I’ve always wanted to visit that beautiful little country. Now I feel as though I’ve been there. Thank you for another lovely video! ❤️
Thank you so much for coming along with us ❤️🥰
Matt/Julia, which route did you take and where did you get the information to do it? Great episode guys, only live life once
Harriet and I have been to Andorra . A country that is forgotten between Spain and France. We loved its mountain charm. You guys are amazing to walk from one end of the country to the other. Thank you for the wonderful video. We want so much to tour with you guys to the stans countries. We may have some commitments at that time you're traveling. We will see.
Sending you much love❤ from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Hey guys! ❤️
Thank you so much for your amazing support! 🥰
It obviously goes without saying, it would be incredible to meet you and share the experience with you in the Stans! ❤️
Lots of love to you all 😍❤️
Beautiful. Congrats on completely walking through a country.
Thank you so much 🥰❤️
Wow amazing commitment guys !! Beautiful scenery. Lovely little country ! 👏👏👏👏👏💕🌷👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much Yvonne 🥰❤️
Ah youth! Beautiful "walk"! Incredible scenery indeed. Some day you need to do some of the Pacific Crest Trail in the Pacific Northwest of the US. Somewhere in Oregon, my home state. Or the Appalachian Trail which I've never visited. Or.....? Keep on trucking. Love your videos. Come hiking in France, too! Bises from near Paris, France.
Would absolutely love to one day! Would be amazing! 🥰 Thank you so much, love to France ❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful cinematography my friend, your shots are executed and edited masterfully! Bravo for this masterpiece 👏👏
Did it when I was 20 a while ago ! but we had a person driving our car to the Spanish border! Had a nice dinner in Andorre la Vieille ….. and the next day after a restful night finished the journey. It is a really beautiful country. Plenty of cows and sheep ! Well worth the effort ! Also the area between Andorre and Barcelone is amazing too ! Thanks for the cool video !
Oh wow! So cool! Totally agree, 2 days is far more comfortable for sure! ❤️ So glad we could bring back some memories 🥰
Oh wow! So cool! Totally agree, 2 days is far more comfortable for sure! ❤️ So glad we could bring back some memories 🥰
How not to plan a hike! You guys were not prepared😂 A bus ride and car ride after a long day and your friend with a new shoe😅 Great that you completed it. I'll walk/ run long distances and prepare before doing something like this.
Wow what a trip .....a beautiful walk in the countryside but hard work all the same but....brilliantly executed the three of you ...well done !
Thank you so much John! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
Well done both of you! Lovely video.
Beautiful landscape! Love the cows in the beginning. The part when you said you walked across the forest and you could've went straight across, just think of it as you took the scenic route.
Downhill feels easier to me when walking or biking. It's going uphill that I find strenuous. I always use sketchers shoes when walking or biking. Has great foot support.
I am in awe that you did it! I always love travelling along with you. Thankfully on this trip I had my bed to lounge in while watching you three do the hard yards but believe me, I felt the burn as you progressed. Hats off to you. Great accomplishment.
I was doing the Rocky Steps dance mentally (music included) for you guys as you finished that last 1K. Well done! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much Joanne! Really appreciate it 🥰😍❤️
Thats a nice sunday afternoon walk. Congradulations, you got lost at the start, feet got blistered and sore, yet you all pushed on. Well done.
Thank you so much for your support 😀❤️
Good job, guys, proud of you for hanging in. Oddly, I'm a volunteer trail ranger here in Maryland. My job is to keep the blazes painted and do light maintenance on my trails (e.g. pruning/clearing branches), and report trail problems like downed trees, damage bridges or missing stepping stones at creek crossings. Beautiful trek, you guys, 36km will certainly tucker you out. 😊
Well done you 3 what a great achievement . I was shattered watching it Lol . Keep up the excellent work 👏👏.
Well done guys. Beautiful scenery!
Well done🥳🎉👏👏..❤ all your content. Thanx for all your adventures . Keep it up and always stay healthy.
Thank you so much for your amazing support! ❤️🥰
Hi Matt and Julia, sounds like a tough but rewarding walk. Having walked a few miles myself over the years, trying to keep your feet dry from sweat is very important. At a stop, always good to take your boots off and let your socks dry out naturally, but no good if it is raining!
Thanks for another lovely adventure. ❤
Thank you so much for coming along with us! ❤️
Good to see you guys looking good and healthy, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much 🥰❤️
35km is a big effort for one day. Well done on making it through what looked like a very pretty country. And, yes, make sure - as you two did - to do it with someone.
We have some fantastic walks in New Zealand if you ever get to this part of the world - the Milford Track in Fiordland World Heritage Area and Tongariro Crossing in Tongariro National Park are two.
What a trek! Love that you actually did it!! New friends here. You guys are way fun!
People usually realize too late that going downhill uses totally different muscle groups then you routinely use in your legs and back. Lovely views and friendly people along the way do help though. Thank you for taking us along.
We definitely discovered that the hard way 😄 So glad you enjoyed the video ❤️🥰
@@MattandJulia The hug between you two showed it all, you two are in it together. And you two have more guts then a majority of the population.
Means a lot Dave, thank you ❤️
Wow ! Well done guys . Amazing xxx
You two (3 on this Journey) are incredible. I've watched hundreds of Couples explore most regions of planet Earth..............However you two are without a doubt the Best I've came across. Thanks you two, Brian in Florida.
Well worth the walk just for the scenery alone 👍🤗🤗❤️❤️
Thank you so much for joining us Nigel 🥰❤️
What an awesome adventure 🎉❤
Thank you so much Marilyn 🥰❤️
Good on you for walking to the end. Character building! Some would say. You still had a smile on your face and a story to tell.
Yay! Congratulations to you!!
Thank you so much Susen 🥰
Amazing mountain views.
wonderful scenery -- UK busy covering the country in concrete at moment - so nice to see it !! (your scenery, not our concrete...)
Thank you so much for coming along with us Arthur! ❤️
I've been telling my friends, I'd be in great shape if I walked from Batumi to Tbilisi and back. I would probably lose some weight( I'm now around 150 kg). No one will walk with me and I can't that kind of time off of work.Maybe after I retire in a couple of years.
Sounds like a plan for all of us in a couple of years time 😌😉
@@MattandJulia I guess I better start getting in shape.
WOW SO BEAUTIFUL IS THAT COUNTRY SIDE!!!!
It is a stunning country! 🥰❤️
What a great adventure!
So glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
That was gorgeous and looks like you could have made it 2days joyfully. May sound bad but honestly glad to see you guys get tired. Helps narrow the mental gap from healthy you to disabled me to give a sense of sort of possible.
Believe us when we say we were hurting for days afterwards 😅 So glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Pleasant little stroll!
Haha, for sure 😀❤️
YAAASSSS!!!
And that,
Is how it's done.😎🥳😎🥳😎🥳 EXCELLENT!!
Thank you so much 🥰❤️
Cool Guys. Well done 👏 🇦🇩 haven’t walked border to border but have skied the various areas …. different experience 😊
Amazing! Would love to ski there, looks incredible! 🥰❤️
Very well done.
Thank you! 🙃
Great job y’all!!! I thought 15 miles of walking was a lot, but you proved me wrong!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
Well done! Are you going to walk the Camino? Can’t wait to see
We would absolutely love to one day! ❤️
As you are in the area (roughly) you should visit Canfranc railway station,, we were there 5 years ago it was in a poor state but a brilliant and amazing place, the station has the claim to be longer than the Titanic, its history with two different rail guages is crazy, well worth the detour.
Lovely video I know it was hard walking enjoyed immensely well don to the 3of you
Thank you so much Andy! Really appreciate it 🥰❤️
lol! I'm impressed! I can't believe y'all walked that entire trail in a day! Most hikers/backpackers start out doing much shorter hikes. Were you able to get out of bed the next morning?
Try the Camino de Santiago hike!
Well done guys!
Thank you so much 🥰❤️
You all did great. So I think a self reward is due you. Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. Vatican City is 1.05 km (0.6 miles) at its widest point. With an average walking speed of 5 KPH (3.1 MPH), you could cross it in 12.6 minutes. The perimeter is 3.2 km, so you could walk around it in 38.4 minutes. ; )
Now this, sounds like a more achievable goal 😄 Next time for sure 🥰❤️
Also, for those who like scary things like Halloween. Check out the Audience Hall at the Vatican. The building is in the form of a snakes head. When you go inside, the windows look like snake eyes. The ceiling looks like snake scales. In the front are fangs with the Popes chair in the middle. There is a huge creepy art piece that is supposed to be of the apocalypse. There in the center, they say it's Jesus with a snake head popping out of his head. In actuality, it is a perfect depiction of the Antichrist. Clearly understood in the Bible as the snake head is Satan. In the first book of Bible, God speaking to the Serpent Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel."
It means Jesus would triumph over Satan the Serpent, which Jesus did do when he was crucified and died for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead the 3rd day.
Those who believe in Jesus will have everlasting life with him.
Well Done😉💯👏💪
Congratulations 🎊 Best Wishes 🇺🇸 Pennsylvania 🤗
Thank you so much! ❤️
Enjoy life Friends 😊
You too Dani 🙏🏼❤️
You crazy kids!!! I think I would have got a place in the capital and enjoyed a nice dinner there. Then finish the hike in the am. But that's me. Thanks for bringing us a long. 🏞️🏞️🏞️
So glad you enjoyed it Grace! That definitely would have been wiser to be fair 😄
Young and crazy, what can I say!! Well done guys.
Hahaha, it was a spur of the moment decision but an amazing one 🥰❤️
I knew you could do it!
Andorra is on my list of places to go. Having been to Liechtenstein and San Marino and found them.... interesting shall we say, I figure I may as well try to do the other European microstates too!
Andorra is nice but I never liked it too much as the whole country is just walls. If you like the mountains, simply go through the Spanish Pyrenees from East to West through all the north of Spain, including Cataluña, Aragon, Navarra, Basque Country, Asturias, Cantabria and Galicia. You’ll love the incredible scenery and the food. Nice videos by the way!
Beautiful country!
Well done 👍
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️
Iam a real fan of you both but I relate more ti Julia as I got my higher education from Irkutsk (siberia) my wish was if you could explore petropalsk kamchatka
Love you both🎉
Ah amazing! Such a beautiful city, we loved Irkutsk! ❤️ We definitely will one day, our dream too 😍
@@MattandJulia thanks
💕 Thanks
Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️
Bushwacking is the way to go, hahahaha. Looks like a great hike 🇦🇩
Hey lovlies. This video was so relaxing to watch. Not for nothing at all. Hey Matt Vans better sponsor you dude. Watching from South Africa
Loved this crazy concept. Those were the prettiest cows I've ever seen. LOL
Why didn't you stop along a stream and take your shoes off to cool your feet? Reducing the blood flow helps reduce pain stimulus.
You definitely need a better mapping app. 😅
Haha, that’s for sure! 😄 We really should have dipped our toes in to be honest 😩❤️
Awesome 😎👍👍👍
Thank you so much! 😊❤️🥰
Be careful where you put your hand, Julia!! ohh too late! Cretin cows! haha Fantastic hike! love from Buenos Aires
Hahaha, it was such a nightmare 😂 Love to sunny Buenos Aires! ❤️
next up, Liechtenstein. and dont use boots. use trail runners (sneakers)
Potentially, although Liechtenstein from north to south is quite flat 🤔 perhaps San Marino too 😀❤️
@@MattandJulia haha! I'd watch that. Cheers you two. All the success
Kudos guys hope you had a cold one after this video
We most certainly did! 🍻❤️
Crazy 😁
i'm going to do this one day
You won’t regret it (apart from around 20km in) 😀
Choose FUN! Forget challenge!
This was a lot of fun and a challenge 🥰
Can you share your route? I may like to try this!
Oh you visited Silas' home country :))
"Walkabout" as the Aussies say.
Just a bit of a walkabout 😀❤️
💪💪💪🇵🇭
❤️❤️❤️
Vatican would have been even easier 😅❤️ love you videos, stay save
Hahaha, next time for sure! (“Walking across Europes most religious country”) 😀 Thank you 🥰❤️
Drew binsky walked the entire Liechtenstein.
He did, we drove Liechtenstein instead 🙂
Another place I wouldn’t think of going to. It’s beautiful. What an experience. I bet you were hurting for days afterwards. Cheers guys. Another brilliant vlog. Thanks for sharing.

Literally aching all over 😄 So glad you enjoyed it!! ❤️🥰
It must be Georgia
if you had walked in the other direction and got a bus to the begginning you would of got to car at the end of the walk.
Should have started by walking the Vatican. 😂
Hlo dear ❤🎉
I am from India 🇮🇳 😮😢🎉❤
I got tired just watching the two of you.
If you’re going to “sponsor” a product, then at least you should actually “drink a bit more” of the product, instead of just taking a minoot “sip”
We have been drinking it for weeks, as we said, would you prefer a 90 second integration just showing us a drinking it down in full? 🤨
We’ve been picked on for all sorts over the past couple of years, but this is a random one.
Greeting from Ann Arbor. I would have thought you were going to bicycle back to your car. That would have been really INTERESTING! I am enjoying the tack you are taking with the last few videos. Interesting change of pace. Julia, just curious how your Grandma is doing! Keep it interesting guys, like usual. In my younger years, I hiked some in Michigans Upper peninsula, place called the Porcupine mountains. (ironically, never saw one) . Take care and be safe. Love you guys, Chris.
Thank you so much Chris! Lots of love to you too 🥰❤️❤️❤️
P.S. Gonna try AG1, just signed up.
Really hope you enjoy it Chris, sure you will 🥰❤️
