I need to vent and ask for prayer. One of my roommates baked cookies and another brought home donuts. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. The battle is real. It’s good that I’ve seen results since changing my eating habits.😊

mindlessly building themselves sick - maybe fat and sick - bodies, and less than cheerful attitudes, alas. You have the opportunity of awareness. Maybe go straight to your room and close the door until the immediate temptations are over. Wishing you all the strength of will that you need, all of the time. (Am an 88 year-old grandma healing breast cancer with carnivore since last November. So far am alive 8 months past due for predicted death.). Be as strong as you can and get right back on the horse if you fall off.👌🙏💖

Dante, imagine how difficult this would have been if it had happened 3 years ago before you got healthy. You have the physical, spiritual and psychological resilience now that you didn't have then. This resilience will carry you through. You mentioned other personal issues behind the scenes, the stress and pain are evident on your face but so too is the strength to get through it.
You've sustained a loss but thank God it wasn't a terrible one. You can go to the event next year and it will be all the sweeter for having missed it this year. Bad things happen, we don't know why and all we can do is survive them and get through it.
Remember, you are a force for good in the lives of many people. When something bad happens hold on to that. You are going to be fine, you've put the work in and it is bearing fruit. Lean on your community in times like this, we will be here for you.
As a caveat, suffering is not deserved or undeserved. We can live our lives as cleanly as we can and do everything right and we can still experience suffering. Ask any abused child what they did to deserve it, the answer is nothing.
We have to be strong, lean on our resilience and strength and get through it and continue to do good things in the world.

I feel better than I have felt in a long time.
On the topic of suffering, you don't deserve it but you have the strength and resilience to get through it.
When I was 8 years old I was in a boarding school, a teacher there threw me into the dining room door so hard that he broke my right hip. They didn't give me medical attention for more than two weeks resulting in necrosis, bone death, of the right femoral head. That set me up for tremendous suffering, so many surgeries and doctors telling me I had to accept it, I was going to be disabled and eventually diabetic, I was 330 lb in a scooter.
I'm under 180 lb now and I bike everyday. For me it was getting rid of processed food and being determined to not live my life disabled. I had a lot of surgeries but now I am healthy and strong. I help people, I went to law school so I could do something with my life that would allow me to help people. I've decided that I want to get my qualifications in nutrition and use what I've learned to help even more people just the way you do. I am new to carnivore but I've been learning about nutrition for the past 10 years as I've remade myself. I initially found Dr Jason Fung, his book the obesity code was instrumental in helping me lose weight and keeping it off. But there is so much more beyond intermittent fasting and a ketogenic diet and now that I've found it I won't go back.
I think I'll sign up on the website so we can talk and you can give me some additional guidance.

I stopped watching the news n reading the newspaper 6 years ago too much h negativity. I surround myself with positivity. If I have to go to the supermarket to get toilet paper n grass fed butter I do not walk around the aisles.

Absolutely, praise Him. He’s delivered me from so many bad decisions in my life I can’t help but praise Him when he didn’t allow this to be as bad as it could have been. So thankful my wife and I are home together now and not playing out a much more uncomfortable scenario in a hospital bed or worse. I’m thankful.

I agree that whatever old normal people see will not be returning to this sinful, broken world where everything is set up for our demise. I read everything and am always shaking my head at what people are buying blindly and consuming; it's so sad. Good morning, Dante! Recently I went thru a major life event. Prayer, a long walk, and a big ribeye sure feels good.
And being a child of the late 70s early 80s candy cigs and nerds were a BIG deal! Would always get them when I went to the convenience store with my granddad. Lol

Also... PLEASE wait to sign off on any injury until at LEAST 2 weeks go by. My Chiropractor told me this many years ago... you just don't know what may pop up after swelling or trauma to an area has sufficiently passed, to actually know you're 100%.

You are so right about the light at the end of the tunnel. Every time I’ve been a crisis. I’m so focused on it that I can’t see my way through to the other side. But on the other side you look back and you say God was taking care of me and in control the whole time why did I worry? That is what faith is. Faith is believing what God said he will do. And when you’re being tested, that’s the toughest time but we have to hang onto faith. And I think that with each battle we get better at it.

Just started following, last night I watched the whole one hour, 3 year journey. Made me emotional at times and holy cow. This is my day 8 and I can’t say enough good things about your journey and how much it has changed people’s lives. Saved mine, depression is a B.

I have to admit, I have a lot on my plate at the moment (much of which I can’t share publicly yet). Avoiding anxiety has been challenging lately. I have complete faith in God, but my fight-or-flight mode is definitely active. I’m so thankful to be as healthy as I am because of this way of eating, it makes it so much easier to press on daily.

Best video ever! You are a good man, Dante, and I’m proud to know you. I practically lost my job last week, in fact I think I may have, I’m not sure. It’s a two man carpentry operation. My ‘boss’ has been very verbally abusive, he thinks it’s funny. I called him out on it and not sure where we stand now. I’m pretty used to uncertainty. Got a fridge full of lamb and tri tip and everything is going to be ok.
We’re in similar boat, but Jesus can calm the storm. We just have to trust Him even when he’s asleep below decks. Praying for you Brian. 🙏🏽

The nerd covered jelly beans have been around for many years, and are really good, so are the nerds over gummy ropes. I have been addicted to those types of foods for years, ate candy all the time till last fall when I found out about this way of eating. I still miss those foods, probably always will so I try and do what I can to avoid them.
I miss these shorter videos. Thank you. Just yesterday i seen marshmallow flavored crispy treats??? Aren't they already made with marshmallows. I can only imagine it only tastes like chemicals
