- Watch as I rebuild my 3.5ton jack. It's more work than expected but so far so good!
This is the repair kit I used; it mostly worked but not all parts were correct :( : www.blackhawkparts.com/g-735-...

Hey dude, I just found your video and I think you mention me in this video about ordering the seal kit and not getting the right reservoir/larger seals. Yes, I ended up using the original ones and my jack is still working great.
I have one that starting not hold. It eased down with a load. I rebuilt it and it continued with the same problem. Finally, I tightened the "DO NOT ADJUST" screws/plugs and counted the turns. I pumped the handle and it did nothing. I eased off the screw and ti started working. It held up the front of a tractor for hours. I believe that this was the problem all along. If I had tightened down on the "DO NOT ADJUST" screws before I rebuilt it, that may have been all it needed.
I'm knee deep in mine right now! Thanx for the video.
Glad I could help!
i called the company cause i kept the book it came with ,,,,i was told or THEY dont have or sell the repair kit ? i guess you found kits ,,,,,thats good to know ,,,,,,thank you

NEXT TIME PULL IT MY FRIEND ...
Excelent video, can you please share the link to download the service manual please?
Thank you, excelent explanation. Did you count how Many little balls are in each Wheel? Mines fall aparte and I don't know if I am missing dime. Thanks
No I didn't count them, but it should mostly fill the indention where they go, there was the space of about 3/4 of a ball left with all of them in a wheel. It will be ok if you are missing a couple for the wheels, that won't matter much.
It looks like you damaged the piston when you hit it with your pipe wrench at 3:35
That's not the piston. That's the outer wall of the chamber the piston fits into. Yes I put teeth marks into it, but that outer wall doesn't matter.
@@TnADoStuff u were hitting the pipe wrench in the wrong direction, it is made to grab the opposite direction
We’re you order the kit put the address please.

channel locks and pipe wrenches are directional. sorry but that annoys the heck out of me.
There's a good reason they are: It's a design feature that enables them to grip harder the harder you pull, giving them advantages over other types of tools.
