- In the first of our new video series, actors (and newlyweds) Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan give us a glimpse of their first home together, designed by Disha Bhavsar and Shivani Ajmera of Quirk Studio. The designers traded the fanfare and footlights of showbiz in favour of a tranquil sanctuary full of warmth, light, and plenty of love. With pastel walls, pretty accents and a stool that matches their dog, the couple's apartment is more English country jewel box than Mumbai duplex.

Their space is stylish but homey, feels like a really good mix of design and hearty sensibility. That little corner of a library reminds me that you can create a space however you like, it's lovely.

I like the personality of Anushka Ranjan. She is so outspoken and she always manage her surroundings which I observed in every video. She also keeps manage her husband too. I found that Aditya is introvert so that's why he really needs this kind of life partner in his life.
introverted people don't really need extroverted partners and vice-versa. You just need someone you gel well with.

The quality of the light in that home!! Wow, I noticed it immediately. It's magical-- so warm, nostalgic, clean and diffused...impossible for me to describe here. It's the one quality you cannot artificially import or create, not in the way they have. I find lighting in general-- even the general design of artificial lighting and hardware used-- to be enormously overlooked by people who are renovating their homes. Atmosphere is hard to create but once you've nailed what you're trying to do, it's magic. Changes EVERYTHING.

I love the staircase, the bamboo lights, and the sliding door to the kitchen. I love the muted colours...not crazy about the neon lights, but its their personal taste. I think what I love most is the way they are so loving to each other.
