I love watching your Vlogs! I used to be a cook on a cargo ship for 25 years until I moved to TN in 2016. I was a chef in a University here until pandemic struck. 2 years with no job we decided to invest in a food trailer which will be delivered in a week or two. Yahoo! I hope ours will be as successful and enjoyable as yours! God speed!

To eve...coming from a chef of over 15 years now and also being versed in every aspect of the culinary world not to mention being a pinoy chef myself here in the states...best advice I can give if you would, is that for you to check out your local trade school instead of an actual "culinary" school...I found that you will gain more knowledge and more importantly the experience while working your ass off in places like where you're at now instead of learning things off books. There is nothing more satisfying in life as being amongst your "culinary" tribe. Trade school is the way to go since you will learn the "book" side of things in this business for literally more than half the price...I wish all of you guys my pinoy culinary tribe all the best success in the world, if ever get to make it up there to visit from here in SouthernCali I will surely stop by and say hi...much love and God bless!!
I and my wife had this kind of business some years ago inside a university compound, with hundreds of students and school people as regular customers. So tiring but satisfying. Our day started at 4am marketing for fresh ingredients and ended at 9pm. And we had two helpers! I can imagine how busy you are, with basically only you and your wife running your operations. Kudos! (New subscriber here.)
In the future you will need more personnel, Evelyn keep it up...
I figure it would have been difficult for you to be able to travel places together. My aunt had the same business in the Philippines and had to give it up because of that. But her business was thriving.
