Ivan Toney aint worth 70 - 100Ms, the guy is aging and has recently come onto the scene in the last 2-3 years, you can buy many better players at 70 - 100 Ms even for 50 - 60 Ms Teams. Honestly teams like Arsenal should rather sign players who are world class like Osimhen, Lautaro and others. You could even make a case for Mbappe on a free transfer. At the end of the day there are so many better strikers on the planet than ivan toney

@@eddlovesskiing the difference between Håland and others is he is the most clinical striker in decades, and he has more goals to his name than starts. Osimhen has had one decent albeit overrated season at a high level, but even then his conversion rate wasn't great and he took a LOT of shots. He couldn't score in Germany as a teenager, he was mediocre in Belgium and France, and this season he's got six non-penalty goals in 18 games including European and domestic cup apps. He's only scored against Frosinone, Sassuolo (pen) Cagliari, Udinese, Lecce and Fiorentina (pen), and Braga in the UCL. Aside from netting a hat trick against the mighty São Tomé (including a pen) and getting one against Equatorial Guinea, he's not even doing well in international football. He has a single goal at AFCON lmao. Håland gets no service for a mediocre side at international level where even Ødegaard gets no end product, and he still scores for fun.
They're not even remotely comparable.
Comparing Højlund to Toney isn't right. One is a young lad with potential, the other one is undoubtedly a great striker but aging quickly. Plus Højlund's price was overinflated thanks to Man U's ability to negotiate deals

@@GIBBO4182That’s what I’m saying. I like Toney and his profile would suit Arsenal, but he’s not a world-class player and I would never consider paying £100m+ for a 28 going on 29 year old striker that has spent only 2 seasons playing consistent top-flight football.
Osimhen has been playing top-flight football since he was a teen and has proven to be a legit 25+ goal a season forward. He also has a release clause at over £100m, so it will make negotiations easier to process.

Ivan Toney for me goes for between 60 and 70 mil. Kai Havertz came with pedigree and was on a big pay cheque at Chelsea. Tony's coming from Brentford, no European football experience, no national team experience, no trophies won. Nothing.
He'll have a year left on his contract in the summer and he'll be 28....Arsenal and Chelsea would both prefer Osimhen. He might end up at Arsenal but 50 mil tops.

If he can score 20 at Brentford where they have less than 30% possession and he barely has any chances, then if he moved to a club in the top 4 he would obviously hit 30 as he would have double the chances to score each game and receive better service
