It’s so frustrating watching you guys reason away The Tinder Swindler when you haven’t seen it. The fact is, he passed himself off as an heir to a billionaire tycoon, who HAD money. He would explain that he was in danger and couldnt use his own accounts bc he could be tracked, so he would convince them to take out loans for crazy amounts of money- and they’d qualify for the loans bc he would HIRE THEM and make up their incomes, so they’d qualify for high dollar amounts on paper-and he would also say that he would reimburse them right away and was good for the money, which he seemed to be bc he would wire them money the next day (but of course that money never cleared bc of some new excuse). It was seriously next level stuff, and not just naive women who were desperate. I don’t think I would have fallen for it, but it’s way more advanced than you all realize. Please watch the documentary.

Guys that whole Ava (tiktoker) story is so much worse. The dad challenge podcast did a full video on it and broke down articles. I think you should watch that and talk about it again when you film the podcasts next. It is absolutely terrifying and her parents are truly insane.
