It is amazing how we still have the Queen Mary today but it is sad that she is in so much disrepair that she is in danger of capsizing

She is not in danger of capsizing. Before the City of Long Beach took control of her, a number of different companies just pocketed the money and poured none of it into the safekeeping of Queen Mary. They were told that if things continued on like that, she would be in danger of capsizing in a handful of years. Thankfully, things are way better now, and she's in better shape than she's been since retirement from service in 1967. They've recently had experts take a look at her hull, and she's solid as can be.

Rumors of the qm being in danger of capsizing are nothing but unsubstantiated rumors perpetrated by clickbait articles. Nobody associated with the Queen ever said that.

The Prince of Wales looked completely uninterested throughout.

Funny how the Queen Mary started out and lived as a "Ship" and now in Long Beach is legally considered a "Building and not a Ship."

Isn't there a distinctly German accent in the Queen?

No, there's a definite German twang to her voice, but not the King's.
Remember that they transitioned from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor.

Queen Mary grew up in England in an English-speaking household. Her father had a German accent in English, but her mother did not. She doesn’t sound German to me, just very old-fashioned posh.
