  • I hope you find my new Nova PERGOLA review helpful - Please hit the like button,
The Proteus 4m x 3m Rectangular Pergola - Grey is perfect for adding a stylish, covered area to your outdoor space.
Made from aluminium leg poles and horizontal framework as well as galvanised steel louvres, this stunning pergola is ideal for long-term use. The design is UV protected and therefore resistant to fading and other damage typically caused by heat, plus it protects you and your family from harmful UV rays as well as corrosion resistant.
This pergola is the perfect opportunity to extend your outdoor season. Thanks to the tilting louvres, you can switch between a closed, sheltered space, and an open top to allow sunlight to come flooding in. This means that you can use your outdoor area even when the weather is less than perfect. This pergola ultimately allows you to choose between sitting in sunshine or shade, and provides shelter should it start to rain at a moment's notice - typical of British weather!
There is a brilliant built-in drainage system which prevents you from having to open the louvred roof to let water drain. Any rainwater that lands on the louvres flows into U-shaped channels. From here, the water flows from the roof and into channels in the pergola framework.

Amazing! What a perfect solution. It’s a fair price tbh. I’m trying to design a waterproof pergola at the moment and it’s so difficult to sort the roofing. This solves all our problems in one simple design 😊

I looked at building my own or customising one and adding a fixed roof. Gave up when I found this.

@@kirstygriffiths749 The only problem I have is with the height. Our deck is raise, made to cover a concrete pad, and with that on top at 2.51 m high it would tower and upset the neighbours. Looked at design online and it would be hard to cut down. They all seem that high. Bugger!

Is it much darker when the roof slats are closed? We are thinking of putting one on our patio but it’s in front of our lounge window and I’m worried it will shut out a lot of the light so your thoughts would be appreciated .

Not really. We like that it’s blocking out the blinding sun we used to get late in the evening.

Well…. Having had lots of rain recently ! It’s not remotely noisy . It’s not got any dirt on it either. Still our best garden purchase.

Hi! There seems to be 3 different models of the Nova pergola. Any idea which one you got? The Titan for example, seems to be much more expensive
