Interesting that Alan Alda commenting about MASH said he only watched it in the UK because it didn't contain US "Canned Laughter", which I find annoying. If it is funny you laugh and the most I have heard an audience laugh was the Film, "Mr Bean Goes on Holiday" where all the main actors were brilliant.

Many years ago there was a sketch show called Alfresco (Steven Fry and Hugh Laurie and others). In one of the sketches they played Americans on a bus suing each for rediculous reasons. For example, one man got up to get off the bus and the woman who had been sitting next to him asked, " If you are leaving, do you mind if I sue you for desertion?". He replied, " not at all provided I can counter-sue you for the unborn children we never had."

@jeffwhite-ri5th although that has nothing to do with this video I have to agree with you.
Many of us saw it coming and tried to warn as many people as we could but sadly it's too late.
We live in a police state where we have no freedom of speech with ad-hoc law.
The Conservative administration & The Labour administration before it have changed every aspect of this country's culture, traditions, religion, population density, etc in such a short space of time Charles Darwin himself would be astonished.
My once beautiful rural English county of Herefordshire is completely unrecognisable from what it was 15-20 years ago just like the rest of the country.
Crime rate is the highest it's ever been, our economy is collapsing moving us towards a clashless society. We voted to leave the EU and then had to vote again in the General election to get our independence but now we have our "independence" the Conservative administration has simply adopted all current EU legislation as they are globalists who don't care about the British and only care about their pay masters who as George Carlin said belong to "The Big Club" that you and I don't belong to.
The vast majority of UK comedy shows I see our Americans cousins react to don't realise the same shows could not be made today as the Government and the BBC along with the WEF dictate what our cultural zeitgeist is and these shows are verboten even fun family shows like 'Allo Allo' are banned and considered offensive! The Overton Window has shifted too far and we as a people have let it happen.
Much respect. Take care my friend

      From this rightful victory
      No one can overcome us
      We are glad to plunge
      Feet first into Annwn
      In knowledge we will rise.
In old welsh mythology it’s believed that those who died will rise again to defeat the English. It has always been believed that King Arthur would come back from death to defeat them. Annwn is the welsh otherworld so where the deities lived. And it’s believed this is also the land of the dead (also our national anthem Land Of Our Fathers) (welsh is my mother tongue)

@@gabemore1766 There's always been that debate wether Arthur, or Artur (ancient Britain for Bear) was Welsh (a Briton) or was he a Saxon or a Roman-Briton warrior of about 500-600 AD. What is certain that the name Artur came to prominence not long after the Romans upped sticks & buggered off home, the splitters! (Sorry, quick Life of Brian reference there!). At this point, myth & legend kick in. Though what is certain is if Artur existed? He never went round wearing the full plate armour of the late 12th & early 13th centuries. He'd of definitely worn some form of chain mail & some form of armour, but not the full suit of armour as is often depicted by Hollywood. As for tracing your bloodline back to 5 or 600 AD? That's a big leap of faith to take. As far as I'm aware, & I stress that point "as far as I'm aware" there's no way to trace a bloodline back that far as they just didn't keep phyiscal records. Everything was, as I later learned, was passed by word of mouth in the stories, legends & myths held by the peoples those myths & legends were about.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise to come back from Summer break to :)
I wish I could say the spider could have been Danish too, but it would probably just have been too scared of heights to climb all the way up and too scared to climb down again (you know, very flat country), then needed help from firefighters to get down, then got PTSD from the whole situation, went to the doctor's office to get an appointment at a psychologists but only went home with antidepressants and the promise of an appointment in two years, then got addicted to the antidepressants, then took an overdose, then went off the antidepressants, then finally climbed all the way up the waterspout only to jump off in order to end his misery.

Something I learned recently is a lot of frivolous lawsuits are kinda necessary.
Like I've heard some states require you to litigate before you're able to claim healthcare on insurance. Like that lady who was basically forced to sue her nephew for hugging her too hard, causing a back or leg injury (can't remember whicj)
Related, that lady who sued McDonalds after she spilled her coffee: she got 3rd degree burns and a long term disability from how dangerously hot that coffee was.
And lastly, tangentially, that thing about Van Halen and green M&Ms. That was a test they included in their rider to make sure the venue crew were following their instructions precisely.
If there were green M&Ms in the bowl, it's possible the stage was set up incorrectly and liable to damage their equipment or worse, injure or kill someone.

I love listening to you both as you're so natural and genuine. You look & sound good together! You obviously have an open mind about humour, even if directed at yourselves by "warped British humourists" ! I'm English but partially educated in the USA (Minnesota) in the 1960s, aged 7-10 and understand humour from both sides of the pond. My work involved mixing with you guys frequently across the 🌍! I'm a retired medic! Gotta have a S.O.H. to do this job!
You mentioned the Bible Belt! Weird thing is the "oh so holy people" who hail from these part suddenly want to commit the most heinous of crimes against anyone who opposes their beliefs openly! I refer to the commandment of "
    Though Shalt Not Kill"
Suddenly they must think they're doing the Lords work so the TEN commandments don't apply to them! In England we call people with this mentality as having, "Shit for Brains"!I
    Now there's the Al Murray
vs Americans gig! The reason we have a laugh, at your expense is ....
    because you're Sooooo
Gullible! An easy target cos you cannot Spell, Pronounce, Punctuate & most definitely cannot speak ENGLISH!
I think you need your own language, so as to STOP ✋ assassinating our language any further! How about calling it uh, "Yankee" then your habit of rearranging letters in words, or taking one letter away so you can add 2 letters doesn't matter!I
I refer to words like Data, pronounced "Day Ta", not Dadda, which is what toddlers say to their Daddy! Then there's WATER, you say Warder, a completely different word with a completely different meaning! And the worst of all is JAGUAR, you say Jagwaa!
    Aaaaah
You call your big cat what you like but PLEASE leave our Jaguar cars alone! You also have a bad habit, I call "Linguistic Laziness" for example, Annabiodics, translation = Antibiotics!
    T'ords = Towards!
And finally, I suppose I'm a bleeding hypocrite as I used to speak Exactly like you guys do until I was in my 20s, when I was rescued and shown the error (not ERA = pronounced Ear Ra) of my ways!
So I've had a good 'ole rant, so much that some will label me a right nutter, but I don't care.
I wish you both well and look forward to your next review. Have a nice day and stay healthy😍☺😄

I'm not sure about other places and dates, but I only live 40 minutes from London. And unlike the US, we often have trains in & out of London at least once an hour, often more. We also have a lot of Premier/Holiday Inns too. So you could always come for Al and stay for the two out of three Castles open to the public. As well as an historic town, and historic museum where HMS Victory was built and the oldest still working Ropery, that still makes all the rigging and ropes for the Victory & the Cutty Sark, as well as all the ship in Pirates of the Caribbean. I have to burst your bubble guys...wait for it.... the spider wasny British 'cos it was before Scotty land joined forces with England, when the Scoty King ran away for inspiration. Spidey (was a he, or maybe a she, because the she's eat the he's after they get dirty...it's a revenge thing). Anyway; spidey was Scots-Ulster, and that great event took place in a place in another place which was an island a mile off the Northern Ireland Coast - juat across a wave or two from the Giant's Causeway. The place was a cave on the island of Rathlin, and to prove it, it's still there - unfortunately the spider isn't, so the story (and it's absolutely true) didn't come spidey's gandchildren, it came from the King himself. His name, Robert the Bruce, You can still see the cave today - though not from where you are, you have to visit the island first - it's only 20 minutes by motor launch. However, since the Union of England Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, Bruce is regarded as Britiah. How's that for a history lesson in brief?
Want to know about Phil McCool from the Causeway? Now this giant threw a clod of earth at a giant from Scotty land, but he missed and the clod landed in Irish Sea twixt Liverpool and Dublin, and it's been named as the Isle of Man. I love history!!

I live in England where the suing and compensation culture isn't anywhere near as bad as America. I didn't actually believe that people could be so daft as to ask for money for such trivial things, but I was in Vegas and had just gone down the the hotel reception to change some money when a man was telling the receptionist that he was talking a shower and the water turned cold. He said he was traumatised by it and it had really upset his day. Aw! diddums. He got $200 off his bill! I actually laughed out loud and told him he was a wimp. He said thank you, obviously not realising what a wimp was. I asked the receptionist what I could complain about to get something off my bill, and she actually told me to think of something! Hilarious!

Now - point of Order (and I say this as a Brit who lives in NZ) - The All Blacks aren't just merely 'One of the best Rugby Teams' - they are, statistically, the most dominant Team in a Sport, ever. They maintain a positive Win ratio against every country they have played.
They have only been beaten by England, South Africa, Ireland (recently), Australia, France, Wales (although not since 1965) and Argentina (also recently).
Even the 'worst' All Black teams were still in the top 5 world rankings and were still regularly winning.
