I use dawn dish soap to remove build up. It strips dirt, oil & bacteria until bit hair is completely clean. Then I use the moisturing shampoo with warm water. Then use my mint conditioner to prevent itchy scalp.
Washing out oils, butters, and silicone out of hair is soooo very hard 😫. I know she probably tried so hard on her own to get it all out. But like you said, you really need a good clarifier once it builds up, and it can so quickly (after one use sometimes)...people just dont realize until it happens. I bet she really appreciated the help in restoring her hair back 🙏🏾

It really is. I realized that's bc most "clarifying" shampoos on the market are not real clarifiers, don't have the right surfactant to remove all types of buildup and/or contain other conditioners. Best bet is to use a professional grade clarifier or shampoo with sodium olefin-sulfonate.
Part II...sorry about that, but I also used your Moisture Repair Elite Spray and the Hydration and Strength leave in therapy spray. I also added the Growth Elixir Goddess Super Growth Serum. I like the fact that I can cocktail your products together and the growth serum and the elixir I use because my hair is thinning at the crown. My beautician gave me a touchup recently and she commented on how soft my hair was and I saw that my hair was thickening as well. She asked what I used and I told her your products and asked if she had heard of you and she stated yes and told me to keep doing what I was doing. So I just had to let you know you have a customer for as long as you have product! ... By the way, will your Steamer be in stock or have you discontinued -- Just need to know so I know how to roll. You're doing a bumper job as always -- Be blessed!
I'm a Brit and white, but I have thick, coarse hair with a slight wave which goes it's own way..plus dry scalp. It would be a dream treat to visit your salon and fall asleep while my hair was being washed and conditioned! 😁 Sadly it has to remain a dream...You're definitely an expert!

Most people produce oils frequently. When it comes to hair a menthol shampoo such a sulfer or menthol will cleanse hair. Also a quick hack a dap of DAWN works.

when using a relaxer on the hair, you are relaxing the curl pattern to make it straight. To transition is when you are no longer getting touch up relaxers and am just going natural. So you have to grow out the relaxer and get regular trims to cut the relaxed hair until you are completely natural. That's my take on it.

Oils aren’t hydrating (rather hydrophobic) so why would over hydration be a concern?

You can't control the heat on a stove

@@ellen9925 The heat can be controlled by testing the irons on a white towel prior to using the m on the hair.
