The only reason why you think it looks similar is because this thing lies in the boundary between a mid-size pick-up and a full-size pick-up. And if you even dared to look at the other full-size pick-ups in the US especially during the time of the previous look of the Tundra (pre-2021 facelift), they all practically look identical with very minor differences. Like the Nissan Titan, Ford F-150, Ram 1500 and more.

Well the previous model strada not that triton one performed poorly on its crash test. In fact in the side impact test it rolled over. On the frontal test its rear jumped like crazy similar to characteristics of the old ranger. Nothing like the 5 ⭐ ancap test video the cannon has. But hey nobody cares about safety right?! coz you are too biased on the name of the brand. Well I have been going to China back and forth for years for work and it’s not as what you say. Mas matibay pa Chinese made vs Korean made.
GWM Cannon is actually way more reliable than the Ford Ranger as it uses a very reliable diesel engine 😊
