Virtue Signaling vs. Real Virtue | Meritocracy

Virtue signaling is fueled by a desire to look good or get a lot of "likes" on social media with little or no work, and often a shallow understanding of the issue or cause. Virtue signaling can often result in destructive behavior. It also demotivates people from attaining real virtue through hard work.
