I really love P&O's Arcadia, and it will forever have a special place in my heart as I got married onboard. In today's video, I am showing you the full tour around the beautiful ship. Arcadia is very classic, and I find it has a nice pace, and is full of beauty. I will show you the reception/Atrium area, the shops, the restaurants, the buffet, the spa, the pools, the laundrette, the bars, and more.

I have done a few cruises but really liked this ship. Just the right size with a lovely theatre + wrap around prom for walking. The scenic elevators are rather cool too. Liked it so much I bought a model of the ship for the first time lol
I have also, and really liked Arcadia too! There's something really special about it isn't there. I must admit, I was very tempted by the model ship too 😅
Thanks for this! I'm going on Arcadia at the end of June, and like to watch ship tours to get the lay of the land, and to learn what the ship has and where - so I don't end up missing something good that I didn't know was there until the last couple of days! This is one of the best out there for Arcadia! It actually showed more of the "how to get from A to B", which the other video tours of this ship don't do so much. I'll definitely be watching this again before I go!

I found that arcadia becomes easy to navigate around after a few days, so I was really excited to check the horizon on the evening to see what activities were going on where and when 😀
Thanks for the video, after reading some very bad reviews of Arcadia it was nice this. Having cruised severally time before on Arcadia over Christmas and booked again for 2023 we'll be keeping a close eye on reviews over the coming months. Appreciate all the effort in making the video 🙌
I have been reading some bad reviews too and have been very surprised because I had the most lovely time onboard. I loved how friendly the team onboard were, and how tasty all of the food was :) I hope you have a great trip! And thank you for watching and for your comment 😀
We are cruising on Arcadia for my 70th birthday Christmas 2024. You went into detail on your tour, taking time to explain everything I needed to know about the ship. I had previously seen another video tour and was a little disappointed but on seeing your excellent tour I need not have worried. THANK YOU

It looks wonderful, I've never been on a cruise so was really interesting seeing all the different areas and activities on board.
I really like that it feels like a floating all inclusive hotel haha, with added activities!
What a lovely tour & well presented been on most P&O ships but not Arcadia & not cruised since the pandemic but seriously thinking about going in 2025 but not sure which ship thanks for the upload of Arcadia 👏🏻

Thank you so much :) I really love Arcadia's classic charm. I've heard that it might be getting a bit of a refit next year, so I will be interested to see what changes they make, but I certainly wouldn't say it was needed. I really loved it :)

It was really nice to see this tour too :) we're cruising with Arcadia next year for two weeks! We were really curious to see what the interior was like! Most of the reviews we read were very bad unfortunately but this hasn't effected our excitement in the slightest! Very oldy woldy classic feel it looks like!

Great review. My wife and I are travelling on the Arcadia in October from Southampton to Tromsø, Norway and return. We are Australian and very much looking forward to this cruise.

Nice video with lovely commentary. I don't care about the horror stories as she's having a mini upgrade soon (furniture etc). Spending 30 nights in 2024 to Canada & the USA.

Hello, yes, you need to pay for all drinks unless you purchase a drinks package from P&O. These come in different tiers, so it's best to check which is best for you :) otherwise you will need to pay for your wine in the restaurant yes. They often have a sommelier who recommends different wines, and have a nice drinks list :)
0:37 what about the sauna is that open to anybody who does one have to pay?
The sauna is included, you don't have to pay extra to use it :)
Does Arcadia not have a gym on board?
It does, however I unfortunately didn't manage to film it, but it's definitely there. You can look out to see whilst on some of the gym equipment.
What was the average age range of passengers on board?
I would say mainly retirement age, 50s, 60s, upwards :) I would imagine people in their 20s, 30s and 40s might choose to go on a family ship, as they may have young children.
I think it depends on the cruise itself. I went on a 24 night Canada no-fly & the range was well into the 70's I would say. This made me feel young which was a nice feeling lol. Short cruises to Europe would be younger I expect.
I watched this after booking a trip in a moment of madness. It looks great here but it gets dreadful reviews elsewhere. Are people just fussy?
Hello :) I can't speak on anybody elses behalf unfortunately, but from my own experience, I thought that my cruise holiday onboard Arcadia was brilliant. I think it's a very charming ship, and found the team members and crew onboard wonderful. I hope this helps put some worries to rest, and I also hope you have a fantastic time when you set sail.

So you call your video a full ship tour/complete walking tour, but not one part of the video shows the gym/fitness facilities, thanks for the 28minutes il never get back

Did you only want to want to see the ships gym? What about the 28 minutes of the rest of the ship, that must have been of interest otherwise why are you here?
