Each month we’ll showcase another employee boot, and make it available to you to purchase. Celebrate our 60th anniversary by applauding the creativity of the folks who make Nicks what they are.
May’s Maker is Tate Doolittle, who you know from the Podcast and CZcams videos. Tate is our Director of Business Development and long-time Nicks Boots super-fan. Tate joined the company last year but has admired Nicks from afar for some time.

Tate chose a 7” Robert in Buck Brown as his employee boot. When asked why he designed this Robert, he said, “I chose to build the TD 64, a 7" Robert in Double Stuffed Buck Brown leather, as a way to feature my favorite Nicks exclusive leather but also make it unique.”

That has to be the most beautiful leather I've ever seen. I have a pair of Maxwells in Cognac on the way. I might have to get a pair of Falcons in that leather tho. Absolutely gorgeous.

I love a good 6 inch shaft but 7 just hits the spot.
The 7" shaft of the TD64 offers a very nice balance to the taller heel of the 55 last. A welcome customization to a classic profile.
What would that edge colour option be? That looks darker than the natural option and lighter than the brown option.
