Hi Ignacio, just watched part 1 and 2 and I thoroughly enjoyed that, both superb productions and very professionally done, you have worked so hard on these to redo them with the improvements, and the soundtrack worked so well with them. Really looking forward to your next one, all the best you are an amazing person helping us to never forget the people who fought and died for our freedom in WW2
CYCLING SOUTH thank you very much for your comments, they are always very kind. It is very important to keep alive the memory of all the people who struggled and suffered so that today we can have a better world. And for me it is an honor to be able to present these videos with great respect in their memory. Greetings from Argentina
@@IgnacioVeutroProductions Hi Ignacio, you deserve all the praise you get. I am a lot closer to Normandy than yourself and yet I have never been to the Normandy beaches, but through your productions I can get a really interesting look at it.
@@IgnacioVeutroProductions Absolutely fantastic! Thank You for the great deal of work you have put into your videos and your channel. Fascinating, I love it.
Special Thanks for documenting the heroic bravery of our allied Armed Forces around the world to whom we owe so much.

The image of John Steele pointing to the mannequin of himself, 20 years after the event and then the image shows the doll is still hanging there, is awesome.
Pladderkasse, you are absolutely right, seeing that image live on site is impressive.

I saw some of your videos a few hours ago. I first started watching on my smartphone then to this one (it's very subjective) I realized that it was an affront to watch on my phone, to make the most of all this work nothing better than watching on a screen.
I will return to Normandy and I will see things even more differently because of you
I am passionate about history and to be honest, I had never seen such immersion work before. Your work is such that your videos are hypnotic and impressive. I can only congratulate you, i'm gonna check all of your vidéos and look forward to other futur masterpieces. Thanks for this work.

Briac / Royal Hotel
Hi Briac!, It's good to hear from you!. I have the best memories of the 2 opportunities that I was in Caen and stayed at the Royal Caen Center hotel.
For me there is a before and after having been in Normandy, and it was this amazing place that I have so much love and respect for, which gave me the idea of creating the "Then and Now WW2" channel.
God willing, the opportunity to be on a new occasion in the lands of D-Day will be presented.
A hug from an Argentine friend.

It is so surreal to think that these photos were taken EXACTLY where the WWII photographer took them with absolute hell going on.
Ronin Editor, You are right, sometimes it is hard to believe that one is exactly in the same place where so many events occurred that shaped the world in which we live.

Hi Ignacio, just watched the Normandy ones part 1 and 2 for about the 100th time, just wondering if you will be releasing any new productions this year. Kind regards, Russell (cycling south)
Good morning Russell, it's good to hear from you!... Aren't you bored of always watching the same thing?
In the next few days I will upload a new video Athens and Crete. I have a lot of material to make videos, but I don't have much time. However, I have scheduled several more productions throughout the year. Thank you for keeping in touch. A hug from Argentina.
@@IgnacioVeutroProductions Hi Ignacio thank you for the lovely reply and hug, I dont get bored of watching your content especially the Normandy ones as I love the music but can not find it for sale anywhere so it makes sense to listen and watch it on your channel.Thats great news you will be posting new productions of Athens and Crete I look forward to that, I hope this year to visit Berlin and do some then and now of my own as I have now learnt how to merge photos and I have been inspired by your superb work, we have had a few conversations on here and I like to keep in touch with you. All the best dear Ignacio, Kind regards Russell
@@Russell9241 Hi Russell, it's great that you can go to Berlin, it's a fantastic city, enjoy it a lot.
Congratulations on the initiative to make your own "Then and Now" videos, you'll see that when you start you'll want to make one and another and another.... I'll subscribe to your channel so I don't miss any of them. Greetings from Argentina.
@@IgnacioVeutroProductions Hi Ignacio, I love Berlin as its such a fascinating city, I have been there twice but because of Covid have not made any more trips to Germany for about 2 years so I hope this year I will get back there. I watched your Berlin one recently and hope I can make something as good as that, I have a lot of photos in my collection and spent the past 2 years researching where the locations are, but I am working on a Then and Now I hope will be ready soon, all the best dear Ignacio.

Brits devastated Caen, US slammed St. Lo with bombs. Some French in that town are not so happy as so many civilians died. But, war is hell
SWN, you are right, the methods used during the 2nd World War were very controversial, for the most part affecting the civilian and defenseless population much more than the enemies themselves, as you say, "war is hell".
Greetings from Argentina.
@HARRY KOSSEC you're right. The fact of having mentioned only two cities is only referential for the introduction of the video. The number of cities hit by bombing was much higher.
