Otak-Otak/乌达乌达: Traditional Malay Dish

  • Hey Everyone welcome today's recipe will be Otak-Otak, a traditional malay dish. It's relatively simple to make and will only need a few basic ingredients:
    300g Spanish Mackerel/Wolf Herring (Batang/西刀鱼)
    150g Rempah (Refer to my recipe if keen: • How to make Malay Remp... )
    250ml Coconut Milk
    4 pcs Culantro leaves
    2 tbsp Rice flour
    1 tbsp Gula Melaka
    Some Banana Leaves

    I added 2/3 of the rempah as instructed @2:30. What do I do with the last third?

      It’s more of if you like it spicier you can add more
