Little backstory: Nipsey was giving back a lot to his community, was actually shot and killed in front of his clothing store that he built on old grounds where he used to drug deal. He built a couple of restaurants and had Science and Mathematics programs initiated for better education for kids. I also think he was working with the LAPD to find a solution to gang violence.

Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap was nominated for a Grammy and is a classic, you should react to the album on your individual channels.

Nipsey Hussle’s music isn’t about clever metaphors, but rather his ability to tell the story of the struggles of coming from gang culture and overcoming. Teaching in his music that ownership is the best route and to invest in yourself and your community. And people love him because he didn’t just talk about it but took his money and did that. He loved his people.

It’s such a damn shame to think about where Nipsey came from & where he got to after grinding for all of these years, only for it to end just like that.

React to nipsey hussle ft kendrick lamar dedication. It's a great song. Nipsey was a massive guy in his community. He built a stem centre for technology for the youth. He bought the whole block and turned it into businesses. Was giving jobs etc. He was also bringing gang members together.

The reason it hurts more is because of what he did outside of the music, as a whole he was a legend but the love he had for his community was priceless.

Since his passing his music has grown 2700% in streams. He owns his masters so all that money goes to his family. If you don’t know nipsey, he basically made the way to make money without a label, he made 1000 cd’s and sold them for $100 a piece. He brought his fan base to the label and made a deal that he agreed was fair. He is a legend and glad you guys got around to this. đŸ–€

One thing to look for Nipsey gave a very honest POV of the relationship dynamic w gangs when your life trajectory veers off that path.

Nips was killed by a guy who used to be in his crew who ended up snitching on other fellow crew members, he came through to nipseys clothing store, and nipsey told him you cant be around here for what you did, the guy came back and shot nipsey 6 times and 2 of his other pple who he was with
