So much goodness this week! The Ann Ravens miniature sampler is spectacular; what a find!!! I am also quite fond of the Mary Clayton sampler. I really like how this sampler affords room to breath. And what a treat to add a sampler from Hungary to your collection. You are on a roll. Thank you very much for sharing the research on Hannah Campbell. That warmed my heart! 💖

the sampler from 1744 is enchanting and what a possible back story that it could be Norfolk inspired. So much history and all so fascinating. I heard about the great British sampler weekend coming to NY to HHN ! Oh wow , I wish I could be there. We still want you to come to Florida, you said it was on your wishlist - just say the word and we'll start planning. Mary Clayton is one of my faves.

I can’t imagine stitching that delicate sampler. So pretty. Every time I see Mary Clayton I think about starting it but Eliza S is getting all my attention right now. Look forward to next box and hopefully towels will get offered again.

Hello - the room that I record in has too much sunshine to display samplers. The room floods with light after 11.00am.

Oh how I wish I were in the UK..to attend. But I’ll glean as always from your channel & beautiful charts.. the history is what draws me in…. Love the miniature .
Wanted to share a thought , e when you mentioned that Ravens married an Indian my thoughts went immediately to the prejudices of these inter cultural marriages, in a series called “ The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher” came to mind, Beyond the Pale , the series is on prime videos, I wanted to share this with you. This era in time must’ve been very difficult for women , falling in Love with one of a distant land…

Hello Sharon - I am sorry that you have lost Tiny Tim. They leave such a big gap in our hearts but lots of wonderful memories. The interracial marriage at that time is very thought provoking. Matilda has my respect for marrying the man she loved. I am sure it must have caused all sorts of problems for her in the society she moved in. I am glad we live in different times.

Whenever you post a video, your is the one I always watch first, like this morning! There is also Birgit Tolman from The Wishing Thread I love to watch also because she will open the backs of Samplers which reveals a lot more! She recharts Samplers, herself, as well! I choose the two of you over my daily Keto (nutritional and cooking show) I watch every day!
Thank you for always engaging us in such amazing Samplers that help us forget the world for a little while! You are a dear soul who cares so much, are very enjoyable to watch, and you always have something so interesting! Thank you for making these videos! I very much appreciate them!
I agree with @cyndimartinez524 ! The comment below mine! Have you ever taken us on a tour, or do you plan to take us on a tour of the walls of your home showing us the Samplers you have stitched and are collecting together, such as your Red Monochrome Sampler Room? And other walls, if you have them? OR I should look back at the older videos and see if you've done that already! However, even saying that, I'd love to see more! There may be many more Samplers you've added since then! I think ALL of us viewers/subscribers only, even, would love to see!! Just another hopeful suggestion to get to see them! Thank you, again, from my heart in hand!
