Cloud Canyon State Park looks very nice. I liked the views of the canyon from the Overlook trail and the waterfalls were very pretty too! Nice to see water flowing over the falls in January! Looks like you had a fun visit. 😊 ~ Anita

This trail seems a family-friendly hiking trail although quite numbers of steps are there.

Hi Melissa that was great, what an adventure ! Hemlock Falls with the ice was wonderful but so was Cherokee. 600 steps is a long way down and up hehe ! The place where you stayed certainly had a big choice of accommodation. This was all somewhere that we as a family would love. Thanks for sharing , really loved it :) ~ Anna

HI! Love that this park has so many hiking and biking trails. Gorgeous scenery for that. That's a lot of stairs to go down for the waterfalls, but worth it, I'm sure! It's so beautiful with the ice. And you still had to go 600 steps up! 😭🥴Thanks for sharing your travels!! Give me the travel itch!

Beautiful waterfalls, makes sense they're so crowded. 600 steps isn't so bad going down but it's a good work out going back up I'm sure. thanks for doing the hard work and bringing us along 😁😁

Wow, I would have thought January would be quieter! That falls hike does sound pretty strenuous with all the stairs, but the views look great!

Cloudland Canyon State Park looks so amazing. Going down 600 steps to see those waterfalls was so worth it. The falls were all so beautiful. Love all of the amazing views of the forest and canyon overlook. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend my friend.

What an awesome state park! This area would be stunning during every season, but it was cool to see the falls with icicles. We were surprised to see how big & rushing all of the waterfalls were. You've really opened our eyes to Georgia's beautiful nature. Hope you're having a great weekend! 😊👍

I love Cloudland Canyon. Its very close to Chattanooga and the West Rim Trail is one of the best.
It is close the Chattanooga, we will have to do that trail next time we are there :) Have you been to that pizza place close by (Look Out Mountain Pizza), it is amazing :)

What a stunning park, the views of the canyon really are incredible. Such great hiking trails!! Love when I’m hiking and find overlooks, makes me motivated to keep going and make it a longer hike to see more! Awesome playground it has. Waterfalls trail looks lovely, 600 steps is a lot of steps haha! But worth it to see the falls. The frozen ice is so cool. Too bad it was really busy! Hemlock falls looks lovely too, I really can’t get over how cool the ice is. That’s a lot of steps on the way back up 😂 You always find the most stunning places!!! Thank you for bringing us along 😊❤️
