@@pavel.ageychenko yes I hear a lot of tourist go there. I have even thought about going to Makhachkala but i really desire to go to Derbent. I have been trying to apply to places but it's a bit difficult since i am not currently in Russia

Hi! Thanks for watching my videos!
1. 4G is just everywhere around every medium sized village and in every city. In every little commerce (cafes, ghesthouses, gas stations etc) you'll get a decent wi-fi. And of course every Dagestani people has a smartphone and a Whatsapp messenger... It's unbelievable how technology went deep and fast in such remote places!
2. I'm not the best person to clarify this, but the border for Russians is open. Check whit a more appropriate source 😉
3. And also - Dagestan is a very secure place with the most welcoming people in Russia. Believe me, I travelled a lot across my country (as I run a travel company since 2007)... Perfect for digital nomads!
