    Thank you so much. This is one of the most helpful videos out there on Dubai Airport gates/concourses. Hopefully I will just have to walk from B to C concourse during my transit flight on a 777 ER. Good to know concourse A is for A380 only.

    Thank you so much for this video! I was nervous about transiting given the size of the airport

    i flew in on emirates from cape town (into conc c and then had less than 2 hours to get to conc a) - i vastly underestimated how long it would take.. and was surprised that I had to clear security twice as well

      @JustinThailand  Před měsícem

      Ok, that happened to me too once, but I was transferring to Concourse A with a bus. When I use the Automated People Mover (small train) I didn't had to go through security twice. But you correct, it takes some time to do the transit.

    Thanks heaps for posting this. My brother and i are meeting in Dubai Airport. Im coming in from Sinapore. He is coming in from Brisbane. Both on A380's. Then both of us heading to Rome on A380. Hope we both arrive in concourse A. Then he has to try and find the BC lounge as that is where i will be. This could be interesting. Lol Only 2 weeks to go. Cant wait.

      Yes, there is always a chance for the Concourse A, but on my arrivals with A380, I have arrived at both A, B and C :) But you might be lucky, fingers crossed for you guys :) Have a nice trip :)

      Not 100% sure, but I think it was November/desember 2022, or January/February 2023.

    Thank you for this helpful video, could i ask you, if i arrive by Emirates a380 with a stopover of 2.5hrs and then onto perth again Emirates a380 is there much of a walk as i am travelling with my 85yr old mum and although she is pretty mobile she could not do a great distance, thank you again for your helpful vlogs ✈️

      Hi, and thank you. Yes, there might be a long walk, it all depends on which concourse you arrive and depart from. As an example, if you arrive and depart from Concourse A, it will be super easy, and not that long walk. I did my transit in under 15 minutes, from arrival to the new departure gate. But if you e.g. arrive at Concourse A, and depart from Concourse B, you will need to go to the Automated People Mover(small train) and there will also be some walking distance. There are some Buggy cars through out the airport, and you will definitely be eligible to use these. I haven't tried these myself yet, so I can't give you that much information on this, but Ive seen them on my travels. Another option is to check the possibilities for an Airport assistance, Wheelchair.

    Can I ask ..what gate I may go from terminal 3 connecting Emirates airline to Cebu?

    • @JustinThailand
      @JustinThailand  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Terminal 3 consist of Concourse A, B and C. So if you are inbound for Terminal 3, and leaving with Emirates for Cebu, you will do the transit at Terminal 3. But I don't know which Concourse. The Concourse change all the time. The Concourse A is for Airbus A380 only. If you land at Concourse B, and leaving from Concourse C, you can walk, very easy to find. From the Concourse A to the Concourse B or C, you will need to take the small train. Just follow the signs. The ride takes about 2 minutes. Terminal is easy to do transit, just follow the signs.

    Hi, I have a flight layover of 1 hour. will this be enough time to transit? LHR TO DXB TO ISB. Also any additional info on concourse will be grateful. On my ticket is says the aircraft is a BOING 777-300ER

    • @JustinThailand
      @JustinThailand  Před 5 měsíci +1

      If no delays, or other issues, yes you will. The tricky part with Dubai is; it's big, and you might experience some walking distances. And if you have to move from Concourse A to e.g. Concourse B or C, you will have to use the Automatic People Mover, a small train, bringing you from the A to B or C. If you arrive at the Concourse C and departure from Concourse C or B, you will probably do the whole transit between 15 to 25 minutes. Flying on a 777-300 you minimise the chance of using the Concourse A since this is mainly used for A380. So, I can't give any guarantees, but I do believe you will be ok and reach your gate in time :) Have a nice flight :)

      @@tehaapril9127 yes very comfortably, the gate was close. Also noticed they wait additional time for passengers making that travel across.

    1st flight Ek 619 terminal 3 concourse arrival....?
    2and 30 half hour stay
    2nd flight EK 039 terminal 3 concourse .....departure?
    Thank you.

    • @JustinThailand
      @JustinThailand  Před 4 dny +1

      Arrival and departure gate will be available just some hours before your landing or departure. When on the plane, your arrival and departure gate will come up on your screen. I´ve been traveling a lot through Dubai Airport the last 2 years, and haven't had the same gate yet :) But Concourse A and C has stand out for my travels so far.
