New Era doesn't market their hats to just people who like Hip Hop. Before Hip Hop was even created there was New Era fans who liked different music. I know people who only listen to country and wear New Era caps. I also know some people who only listen to strictly rap and don't wear New Era caps. New Era is a company that tries to appeal to everybody,Not just "gangstas"
