    Jeremy Soule, if you read this... Sir, thank you for The Elder Scrolls series. It is not TES without you. These three installments, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim will forever stand out as beautiful and grand.
    You are undoubtedly one of the greatest composers of the modern days and should be remembered as such.
    Thank You!

      Jeremy Soule is forever goated to me. The man worked for years perfecting the tone of TES since Morrowind and this track shows it. It's a shame he won't be returning, I'll miss his style.

    Another great, but underrated track. These four new tracks that were added had a mixture of both Skyrim and Morrowind to them, something I didn't think was possible.

    This piece always reminds me of Bilbo when he says to Frodo in Rivendell: "I meant to go back, wander the paths of Mirkwood, visit Laketown, see the lonely mountain again..."
    The feelings he has are those of an adventure, the once in a lifetime kind, which was way more personal than Frodo's, one where he found and lost all his friends, where his life both gained its meaning and lost it. His true "home" that he fights for in The Hobbit is, in the end, not in bag-end, but wherever he is with the dwarves.
    All the places he has visited with his friends were his "home" because he was with them when he did.
    This is that exact kind of far away nostalgia that this music brings in Skyrim. The cliffside shores of Ravenrock, the ashen plains of Tel Mythrin and the last silt strider, the cold mounts of Solstheim down to the Skaal village...
    There is an adventure there that, although it doesn't feel as my nordic home like Whiterun tundra, Dawnstar's frozen waves or Windhelm's proud stones, has something to do with "home". A part of me ended up there, at the end of the game 's journey. Anybody?

    When I hear songs like this, I can see an open land, vast and filled with ash, the dead hulks and masses of trees accompanied by the smooth and bitter cold nordic winds.
    Takes me back to ancient land of Solstheim. A land I will remember well.

      You just go into your Library -> Application Support -> Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> TES3 Morrowind -> Data Files -> Music. Then just drop the mp3 of whatever track you want into either the Explore or Battle folders and it'll play in-game. No mods required, you just drop it into the folder with the rest of the vanilla music

    It really bothers me that some of these tracks don't have actual names to them.

    • @DeadSpacedOut
      @DeadSpacedOut Před 8 měsíci +2

      Solstheim's Sorrow or maybe... History of Solstheim. The theme seems to change from sorrowful to sometimes more optimistic and Solstheim was a good place, until the Ash came, so it's possible that the Optimistic notes are of the past and the more depressing ones are from current times in Solstheim.
      I mean it has no official name, but this is what i'd call it based on the sounds. One of my absolute favorites from Jeremy Soule. I personally think Solstheim's Sorrow is a better name though, especially cuz that can fit the "History of Solstheim" theme, as Solstheim didn't use to be a bad place, but now it's filled with danger and sadness, basically.
