Hi there, nice review! I m thinking of buying one, but still doubt about the range. You mentioned about 30miles, what's battery package you have? 300w battery? Thank

My parent s riese &muller ebike has the same e equipment and i had the same issues with the twist grip and handle bar…
Like you, i m interested in this cargo bike with 180 disc and was wondering about knobblier tyres, may be continental dual fighter or some e gravel tyres as I have to ride on damp gravels up hill with limited traction…
So, how difficult is it to balance? And when you get to a traffic light, is it heavy to hold.

Only last week I swapped out the front for a 180. After the pads rebedded I've noted a good difference. I'll be doing the same to the back.
If you lean the bike over yeah its heavy. In light traffic it's OK, its not as nibble as a normal bike but it's fine for me.

Hello there. Nice review bud. I want to get one of these and I too have a 3d printer. Is there any chance you have posted the files to somewhere like printables? They look like excellent upgrades.

I use this one for the battery mount and charge indoors: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4644295
This is what I used for the gopro style mounts: www.thingiverse.com/thing:62800 - use the customiser to tweak as you need. I then used tinkercad to knock up a bit of bar with go-pro mount.

By the way, the bike appears to be sold elsewhere as the Batavus Fier 2. Raleigh is now owned by the Dutch. Might make it easier to get the extra bench or rain tent.

Thanks for making the video- I’ve got one on order at the moment and really interesting to hear someone else’s experience owning it. Do you know if southsea cycles meant the stride 3 extra bench would fit in the front of the stride 2 or would it have to be a diy extra bench? Looking at stride 3 box the front seems a good but wider than the 2.

Thery were not clear. Saying that I removed the bench to clean and dry fitted it to the front and it fits. To me it will be a second stride 2 bench.
