After around '69 we hardly saw/heard her in the UK. Thank goodness there are all these clips around from that post Mamas and Papas era. A million thanks to everyone who has found and posted them.
Cass always had a healthy respect for the American Songbook, years before other pop stars like Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson and Rod Stewart got on the bandwagon. Throughout her short career, she recognized the value of singing and recording golden oldies (and of course her biggest hit was one such song). Thank you for posting this!

Clearly, Miss Elliot's performance here was inspired by the legendary Alice Faye, who successfully recorded this song in the 1930's. What a lovely rendition she gives, and what a nice tribute to Ms. Faye!
She could have done a one Woman show on Broadway that would have been sold out for years. A residence of unequalled entertainment.......
