Sadly none of those CZcamsrs on Apple's payroll will mention or show any of this. People wanted to bite my head off when i mentioned that most of what they were drolling about already exist.
It already exists, but the Apple does it much better.

They are the latest company to do it, and they've had a decade to copy other innovators homework. It should look better. At best if they had all the apps and support it's$1000 better, not $3000 better.
@@BlackParade01 all they have done is better displays and cameras. Other options are poor right now. And even using as virtual screen from laptop - it is only one virtual monitor there - and in immersed app for quest 3 you can open several virtual monitors. It suprises that Apple has done so little for good productivity using
One of the best reviews of the Quest 3, I have seen.
Having included controllers even just as an added option is so great. Plus you get haptics, that feedback response is very immersive.
I've been using my quest 3 since release and I do enjoy it , however the meta operating system does need a bit of work,

@@ilikestuff8218 true but it's 550 if you already have a PlayStation 5. I wouldn't include VR with the price of the console because people just don't buy consoles strictly to play VR. Same goes for PC owners with VR.

You can have that open during a game, I've opened the menu many times during vr chat and big screen ect to browse the Internet just open it once the game has loaded
To put my two cents in, the Apple Vision Pro is twice as expensive as a Quest 3 and Big Screen Beyond headset combined! The screen and lense quality on the Q3 are so much better than on the Q2 but if someone really wanted an even more premium screen they could use a Big Screen Beyond for media and other seated applications and get a Q3 for gaming.
The Apple Vision Pro is a waste of money, you get a small fraction of the software thats on Quest headsets and the Apple Vision Pro isnt even better in all aspects. No contollers for gaming, a more narrow FOV, and Apple is so stingy that their base model only has 256 gigs of space for 3,500 dollars!
IMO these things are a slap in the face. Sure the Apple Vision Pro has a better screen, better pass-through, and more processing power, but you get that with very little in the way of compatible software and thats unlikely to dramatically change due to how Apple has always treated its customers.
You get a few extra shiny features at the expense of having less options. This is true when it comes to thier computers and their phones as well.
They try to make too much of their hardware proprietary and dont appeal to third party developers.
Those things combined with over pricing their products is why Im not interested in Apple more broadly. Not to mention that the rest of the tech industry usually duplicates any advanced new features on apple products within a year or two anyway.
In short, save your money and get a headset that you can do a LOT more with. I guarantee that the Apple Vision Pro will be collecting dust after a couple months for many buyers after the newness of it wears off.

Quest 3 also has Asgard's Wrath 2 and Assassin's Creed Nexus both Nintendo AAA Quality Gameplay-wise.
And they were designed for Quest 2! We still haven’t seen the full potential of the Quest 3 yet, the only game that fully uses the power of the new chip (as far as I’m aware) is Red Matter 2 and that looks insane..it’s nearly pcvr level of detail
quest 3 is by now the best VR headset, you can connect it to a computer and a macbook and quest 3 have thousand app and game and all sort of app, social, education, study, workout, experimentation and all sort of game and experience, today i played music with 3 people in my appartment ( in a form of funny avatar ) on mixed reality, i had several synth and one virtual battery iplayed with stick we have made 3 hours of jam sessions
It will be interesting to see which company is able to combine the benefits of both systems first. I’m a big Apple user, but for now I’ll use Meta Quest 3. In a few years, we’ll see what’s available. Thanks.
Did you tell it to ignore the tripod or is it unable to pick that up? Oh and could you add it to the immersive environment manually?
Good question. It is unable to pick that up because it is too small. It is important to keep your area clean. There is no way add it in but that would be pretty cool to be able to customize the VR environment.

How do you do a video like this and not at least try the demo of the Vision Pro so you have more of a direct comparison based on personal experience? I’m a Meta 3 owner but I’m just asking.
I have now tried tried both and I wouldn't change anything about what I said. The Vision Pro screens are amazing. The 3D movies are probably the best experience but beyond that, the library is very limited and gaming without controllers is pretty non-existent. If price drops, and software improved then I think it could be a nice a great vr option.

You should use immersed, it's far far superior you have 5 separate Monitors that you can place anywhere.

What is the rate
For me, $3499 is way too much to pay for a vr headset. Perhaps if it had a neural interface where i could directly feel everything without the use of any equipment, that never ran out of power future tech. It's not that i dont have the cash. I do, but i were the person who randomly would spend that amount of cash on something that only had slightly more features of something that costs a 10th of it, i wouldn't have
Apple was going for wow factor with the Vision Pro. The micro oled screens it is using are probably what is driving most of the price. I imagine we will see an led version with out the front screen for under $1500 at some point soon
With $500 we can do anythings in virtual world , thousand of VR games from meta store, steam . Entertainment, watching movie , 3D movie , even better than theater. Almost everything .
My first VR/AR expeience was with the vision pro. i returned it today cause im broke but the META should be delivered this Sunday . I fell in love with vison- actually had a very strong reaction to some things that surprised me. Hope I love the Meta 3. Wish me luck cause i'm so sad lol.
I'm excited to hear what you think of having the Vision Pro as your first VR. It certainly is different, but there are plenty of apps and such to recreate much of what Apple is doing.

I own both, but I’m returning the Quest 3. It’s cool, but not even close to the same level of quality as the Apple Vision Pro.
What about people not using there quest much, statistically the retention is very very low.
Certainly, Quest Pro 2 will be released soon to compete with Apple
I'm glad Apple got in the game. I'll probably never buy an Apple headset but now other companies will be trying to make a usable AI for general computing. Games are great and all but even from the beginning I thought of just doing what I do with my computer in a VR space. I think mainly why that hasn't happened is just the limitations of tech but we are there now, the quest 3 is at that level, but companies just were not interested in it, now Apple is pushing the industry.
You can only compare those 2 if you take in the price difference
Apple vision looks really good, it is 3500$!?! I am literally a game developer and I cannot justify that cost as a business expense, that is just too much for a product that really does not even look like it has fully matured yet. (Also Apple ecosystem not very conducive to developers)
If you do develop Apple apps, I would at least make your apps compatible. No need to get the headset yet.
I wish Quest 3 had an Oled Screen, it would be perfect.

The quest 3 is impressive for the cost. Imagine what they could do if they charged $3500!
That would be crazy but remeber a VR headset is a horrible investment, just about the worst of the worst, with tracking resolution and processing advancements any headset will belong in a dumpster within about 5 years. I bought an original oculus for $700, gave it way for free a few months ago because it is trash by today's standards

Yeah you can but u need the app on your phone. Idk if you can reply but it'll show up as a notification supposedly

Yeah it should be under headset settings and then phone notifications on the headset.
You have to have Oculus app on your phone as well.
How long are games interesting for. It all seams crap think I'll wait for then next playstation and GTA and play it on a clear 4k tv. Can see me getting this vr and being bored in a week and it sits there not being used

Is there an option in any app like remotedesktop, fluid, immersed to open windows of apps from pc in different places in the space? or only in virtual monitors? I see that fluid can do this with browser windows, but what about other apps?
For the same price as Apple vr you can get an amazing pc and 2 meta quest 3
The quest is about 8x cheaper than the Apple Vision Pro, I am interested to find out if the Apple Vision Pro will be 8x better.
Nothing in tech works like that. For example 16 gigs of ram is not 2X better than 8 because 8 will take you pretty far for most things. But it is 2X more expensive

I have no interest in augmented reality, so Quest 3 is plenty good enough. If the Quest 4 adds eye-tracking, OLEDs and foveated rendering, it'll be perfect.

@@TechWithBrett I did! They use an iPad to view what you see and guy you along the way. The way it allows someone’s face to shine through while you’re dialed into an environment is amazing. I would try it out for yourself
