  • 1979 Honda CB125 S First Ride - a classy classic - my buddy Dave of the Motofellas fame picked this baby up with only few thousand miles on it - a beautiful example owned by Billy Joels friend (apparently) - I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about this bike or these bikes for that matter but it was super fun. Light, nimble with a touch of pep and pickup. Crispy and clean little bike. Thank you to Dave for letting me ride it, and thank you all for watching and all the support. Have you ever ridden a bike like this before, or similar? Some basic stats for you below.
Displacement: 124.0 ccm (7.57 cubic inches)
    Engine type: Single cylinder, four-stroke

The original general purpose motorcycle. Literally millions of American high school and college kids rode those bikes to school every day. After school the guy's in the neighborhood would go out together and bust some dirt...same bikes. Mr. Honda changed the world. These bikes run for ever. Old Honda motorcycles in Seattle are like VW buses, old bald guys with tie died shirts, flip flops, Bermuda shorts year round, and sporting vestigial pony tails. That is to say, ubiquitous. Well, that turned out a little wordy, now didn't it? Go figure.
