This video really should be the first one that pops up when you search this commander! Maybe I'm a bit bias though since you built this thing to do exactly what I wanted. As others have said; you did an amazing job at getting the deck details out quickly and concisely, the tech has very sound reasoning and I'm in the process right now of getting this thing built. Though now that I live in Finland I'm not sure where to order the cards from since I'm so used to using TCG player 😂😂😂 Great vid, subbed, thanks.

As for your problem with finding cards, I thought there was a site out there that was specific to Europe and its possible they might be your answer, but I can't remember the name of the site for the life of me.
First off, I greatly appreciate the speed, as well as how quickly you get into the meet of the video. The fact that you go over cards as well as their Oracle text is also very helpful how you have both up on the screen. I built my Yurlock deck back when it came out, and it has sort of just sat collecting dust for the most part, but you actually do have a bunch of interesting things that I had not considered. Also, with the revelation of oracle text on recycle, that breathes new life into a legacy Aluren deck that I made with constellation that uses recycled to essentially play the entirety of the deck and most of the time. So I’m subscribing.
Oh wow! Thank you for all of that. Its always nice to get encouragement from a first time Watcher (I'm guessing) to my content. I try to give as much information as I can when I do these, but the downside is that it makes videos much longer than a lot of others, so I'm happy to hear that it was appreciated. I'm glad it helped and I'll always continue to do it for all of them regardless of the time it adds. I was told at some point that my builds seem to go at things from different angles than a lot do and I've taken pride in that for many years. It's actually why I started doing this. A friend told me I should show others my process and how I go about how I build decks. Again another reason why mine are longer than others. I am shocked but also glad to hear it sparked something for you in a 60 cars format deck. That's not something I believe has been said to me. Its usually the other way around. Side note, I love Aluren and wish I still had mine. Recycle amd aluren sounds right up my alley for a deck. I believe I tried to mimic that combination in my chulane deck, just without the aluren. Hopefully all my other videos can live up to all of this in the future and I keep you coming back for more 😀
Hey thanks for the video. I'm deciding if to build this deck or not, so different deck techs help a lot :) I was just wondering, why do you run pretty much no card draw? The recycle is nice, but if removed then you don't have any more card draw.
You're welcome and I hope some of he information helped with your decision. As for lack of card draw, I included staff of domination, theater if horrors, and the aforementioned recycle as my opt I ons for the 1st iteration but they weren't the only ones I wantedto add. This deck will evolve over time as I'm able to acquire more pieces that I want. I thought I had a necropotenceto add but couldn't find it. You see the theory I have for commander is to use repeatable ways to draw cards and not just one time effects. Since I already had made a lot of decks using black in them, my options for really good staples like tutors was already dwindled or I would have also included more of them to find one of the ways to draw cards repeatedly. So in short, the answer really comes down to availability. I just didn't have much in the way of really good options.
@@BluebearsGames you're right, I missed the Staff and Theater as well. Theater looks really good for the deck and is cheap as well. It even comes with a mana sink option. Gonna include it :) And yeah, I get you. Sometimes it feels weird adding one time card draw to my decks, when there's other decks that just draw on triggers... Of course, one always runs the risk of getting their draw engine removed. Unfortunately it sometimes depends on which colors you're running, which strategies and in my case budget.
@@benjaminherreralizana3937 it's easy to miss some things when you watch my stuff the 1st time because of the speed so it's understandable. Also that really of horrors isn't technically card draw, ut acts as such Mos of the time. You're also right that getting your draw engines removed makes it a little harder, but I try and include a few of them for just I'm case. In this instance, they even were different card types just in case someone had board wipes for the different types.
@@BluebearsGames untested as of yet, and goldfishing is pretty useless. I'm gonna give it a try this week. I do play in a pod of 3 so that helps, but i get what you're saying. Hopefully duress type effects that show me their hands will let me plan on what they're going to do with the extra mana. The guys I play with have pretty strong decks so any kind of group hug scares me!
@@BluebearsGames it definitely leans on target player but there's a few like unnerve, viscous rumors, bad deal that hit all. There's also some cheap etb creatures like virus beetle, burglar rats, etc. Raven man is hopefully a good mana sink. I'm psyched to try it out!
I would trade out Exsanguate for Fireball. With infinite mana. You can redirect the fireball to wipe the table. Just a idea. Loving this tho. Pricey I know. But Illusionist Bracers + Yurlok If im reading it correctly the "mana burn" is a triggered ability. So burn em twice.
Mishras factory is actually my 1st favorite card way back when antiquities was released. I hunted for months for my playset. I still like it but mutavault has taken its place. It would be a great sink since it only requires generic mana, but u felt like the man lands I chose should be enough for now. Obviously I'll revisit that after more testing.
I understand that the speed is turned up a little bit too high, and I'll assume this is the first video of mine you've watched so I'll forgive you for not knowing why a lot of my videos are done this way. I have multiple sclerosis and it affects my speech horribly. Speeding up the video helps hide the slur that the disease causes me to have. I have recently slowed them down a bit and hopefully that is the balance between too fast and the sound of hearing a drunk person talk lol
@@mofomiko it's all good. There's no way you could have known unless you watched some of my early videos where I ask people to bear with me for that reason. I know that I may have sped some videos up too much, but if I didn't, some would be over an hour long lol.

Yurlok's been my favorite Jund commander for a while now, thanks for the ideas!
I really liked how yurlok is the only card that does what it does. Beings back some good memories of how things used to be 😀

Great build! I bypassed the group hug and went with an opponent discard theme so they wouldn't have anything to cast.
In a multiplayer setting, how is that working out for you?

Painlands seem pretty great actually, between green ramp spells and then Yurlock's mana ability
They aren't horrible, but a friend and I had a xouple of games where they ended up being a hindrance. I still re ommend them when I can.
I would trade out Exsanguate for Fireball. With infinite mana. You can redirect the fireball to wipe the table.
