2 Dollar Tree Garden Fences
2 Dollar Tree Tin or Galvanized Planters
Zip or cable ties
Acrylic or chalk paint (white and black)
Paint brushes or sponge
Assorted Dollar Tree silk flowers of your choice
Scissors
Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
E6000 or any strong bond glue

When I took a painting class they told us to dry brush. They had us put some paint on the brush not a lot but then they had us wipe back and forth on a paper towel. It will give you the look you were wanting. I wish I was as creative as you are. Love the planter idea.

Thanks Cheryl. Poking holes and tying zip ties is a very good idea. I almost did it until I had challenges in finding a block to support it while making the holes. Did not want to damage the table. The strong bond glue holds up pretty good too! TFW, hugs~ Josie :)

I really love thus idea, You can also polka a hole through the flower tin with an awl or a drill and wire it to the fence for a very secure hold.

LifeAt50&Beyond I know what you mean about those fences. I had the hardest time finding them back when I made the bird cages and terrarium. I bought 3 white one at dollar General but they are wider than the black ones at DT. Right now my DT doesnt have any kitchen pans like the pizza and pie pans. For months they didnt have the rope. They just got a few in. Your storage diy you just made, they have none of those either. Don't understand how they stock their stores. Fairy lights gone for months. There's lots more missing but i would be on here forever. Lol. Thanks for sharing your great ideas❤

Hello Mrs Josie! I have what might be a stupid question! But I'm blonde, so there's my justification! Haha! I've had a hell of a time getting those little hook and latches off the DT garden fences Everytime! You seem to have done quite a few videos utilizing the fences. What have you found your be the most convenient way to get those little pieces off? AND whats the brand of the item or items that you use? I've used crappy scissors, my boyfriend's shop scissors, kitchen scissors, expensive scissors, exacto knife, box and wire cutters. EVERYTHING SUCKS! I think the only thing I haven't tried yet are the giant garden shears in the garage. But I'm sure THEY SUCK TOO!!!😜

Little Crive ...looks like you’ve used up just about every scissors and cutters lol 😂. I found this scissor that’s made of titanium! It’s really good!! Before, I used s combination of box cutter and plain scissors. You can use heat tool or hair dryer, i used it on my terrarium diy. Some folks suggested dipping in hot water to soften the fences before cutting . I haven’t tried that yet, but I think it would work! If all else fails... then you can use a saw! Thanks Norma! Great tip!!! This is too funny...I almost did just that. (notice that hammer on the table I asked everyone to ignore...lol) I was going to make holes using galvanized nail and then tie zip ties through 2 parallel holes, but realized that I did not have any hardwood block that I can place underneath to hammer the nail through. Since I did not want to damage the table and I like to keep things simple for everyone to do, I decided to use the craft sticks and glue method. Good thing, E6000 holds up really well!.
