I've only smelled oud Satin Mood and Oud edps, and I remember being pleasantly surprised by how smooth and natural smelling they were. I might have to get my nose on a few more! Tfs.

Hey Sebastian! I really enjoyed this video. It took a hot minute for ouds to grow on me. I find that I prefer the ones that lean more smoky vs. animalic/barn yard-y ouds. I'd love to pick up a bottle of the Oud Extrait and even the Oud Cashmere if I can find it for resale somewhere. Also, this video has me super excited for fall/winter. I find that I enjoy fragrances much better during the cooler seasons.

Love this brand..just sprayed Oud Silk extrait on my skin in store to see if it connects with my chemistry and it's really good but I also like Grand Soir..next sniff will be Oud extrait..my signature is Oud satin mood extrait that's the boss
Good morning, Sebastián. I have a sample of Oud and to me it takes me to a medicine cabinet housed in a cabin after I walk a few miles on an outside path (semi arid desert walk) and I love it! Soothing and uplifting simultaneously. I am going to sample the Extrait version.
Silk mood is amazing, I agree, however it is cold, watery, ozonic, with added oud. Very strange but effective combination, probably not for winter though (well, always good anyways like any great perfumes).

Oud Satin Mood. Omg it’s beautiful

Satin mood is my favorite, mainly because I have never been a fan of heavy oud, so the rose and vanilla makes it softer
Silk mood is definitely more masculine then satin mood. I have the whole collection, and silk seems the most versatile for me. You really can’t go wrong with any of them.

Gonna be honest. I was weary to the oud fragrances at first, even with designer offerings, but the satin mood extait is beyondddd! It quite literally is a satin mood.

I adore Oud Satin Mood - its becoming one of my signature scents (along with Initio's Musk Therapy)
i like this Line a lot. It is like a skala that start with sweet rose with Oud Satin mood and goes a long way to Oud Cashmere Mood wich is so dark and raw.

Man let me tell you, the first MFK I fell in love with was the 540 Extrait. Got a hold of the Silk Mood Extrait yesterday, best smell hands down. Great video btw
I like BR540 extrait over the edp. Satin mood was nice. Haven’t tried silk mood edp or extrait. Might get samples.
OUD Silk Mood was the first frag I fell in love with in the MFK mini discovery sample collection that I tried out. That was so early in my niche frag journey too! I imagined this scent was what it might smell like to have bathed in a perfect woodland waterfall as long as it took to wash away all the stress of society…it smelled Devine and rare.
Most recently, I’ve even layered it with Delina, by PDM, and surprisingly, it wasn’t too much. It was great, actually. And I’ll say that it was just before bed. It didn’t even wake up my spouse. :-( ;-)

I just ordered my husband the silk mood extrait. I hope he likes it. I went in store and smelled satin mood, it smells good, but too powdery for me.

So sad that they're discontinuing cashmere and velvet. I'm glad you made a video on the mfk ouds though because they can be difficult to get into with all the choices.
My favorite is Oud Satin Mood. It last all day! I also have Oud Silk Mood.
Ooh I didn't realize those two were discontinued although I did feel like something was missing when I looked at the line up. I need to find them. I only have Oud Edp and Oud Satin Mood Extrait. I want to get more of the Ouds.
I bought my extract back 2018. I preferred the Silk Mood
The MFK extrait de parfum versions are to much for my liking, the EDP are just fine in my opinion. My top three MFK fragrances: Oud Satin Mood, Grand Soir and Baccarat Rouge 540.

Think MFK Oud Satin Mood extrait should come with a health warning. Once oversprayed on a warming day and the scent was not great, think the oud broke down into something too animalistic. However, for cooler weather it’s just delicious with the vanilla being the last note to go.

Love Oud Satin Mood but I LOVE Oud Satin Mood Extrait. Ladies if you think the EDP version is a tad bit masculine try the Extrait as it is sexier.
I wanted Oud Satin Mood, that was the only one I had the chance to sample, there was a store closing that had 50% off, I sent my daughter to shop for me and she grabbed Oud by mistake but I was pleasantly surprised. Plus half price was nice. Love layering it with a Rose.

MFK never appealed to me enough to buy a full bottle. I have decants grand soir & ciel de gum and thats it. Francis Kurkjidan does his best work for other houses for some reason. I really like fleur du male!!

I have a question please. I recently tried Oud satin mood. Sadly on me it was too powdery for my liking, like opening an eye shadow palette. I smelled nothing of the magic that people talk about. Which one among these ouds is not very powdery and could be worn by a female? I like smoky not too masculine fragrances. Thanks

@@lonewolf5969 my wife and I prefer the extrait because it performs better than the edp. I did not notice much of a difference other than the strength. However, Oud Silk Mood appeared to give the rose note a stronger presence, in my opinion.

So the Satin Mood EDP is a full on beast, I picked up the Extrait and forget about it...Armageddon. One spray MAX: Will last through your next shower.

Hi, can I ask your advise on Oud silk mood extract compared to edp? Which one scent layer changes are more nice?
The edps i easier to layer, the extrait is just too potent and might overpower anything you put to layer.
Hi Sebastian- I like and own Oud silk mood, because I find Satin mood for example to be a bit too heavy for me, as are most Ouds. Knowing this, are any of the others ones I should try out? I hated the barnyard Oud smell of Oud EDP.
I think the vanilla might make OSM heavy?

I like the relatively lighter composition of Oud Silk Mood as it’s more of an Oud for people who aren’t usually into Ouds. Do any of the others have a similar sort of profile? From your video it seems like Cashmere might be?

@@loboloco08 that's because of how feminine leaning the Extrait is. I was sent it when I had ordered the Oud Extrait and they sent me the wrong item. Not too happy about it. My wife loves the regular Oud Extrait and absolutely hates Oud Satin Mood Extrait.
